Yeah, the clover is thoroughly disgusting... A real owner would have pushed back a little harder on that...

I think Bill is annoyed by it. Who knows though I know it’s a good gesture, but ehh.

Damn, phoenix getting new ownership. Now if Sacramento’s idiot owner sells soon, we might be the only team stuck with cheapskate trust fund babies in the pacific division.

Even opponent punches don’t connect that cleanly. Dude went 300 on his ass.

Draymond has been buddying up to LBJ. Now supposedly interested in signing with the Lakers if the Warriors won’t give him something like a 4 year $140 million extension.

Should the Lakers sign him to a big contract next summer?

More 100 mil for 4 years

I would definitely consider giving Westbrook and our two picks for draymond and poole

I'm down for Wiggins and Draymond as well... But not including both the picks

Warriors just extended their fifth starter and sixth man to nine figure contracts each while trust fund Buss let Caruso walk over a $3M difference in valuation. Ballmer isn’t going to hesitate to have a similar $400M luxury tax payment when the time comes, neither Tsai nor any other hedge fund owner would hesitate either. Our time winning things under Buss ownership is up in this league.

Condolences to the dodgers fans here, don’t wish that pain on anyone.

Respectfully, I see things a little differently. It may very well be that the league is in a different dimension now with this reckless spending. The Buss family has dished out some big salaries over the years . Look at Shaq and Kobe. Don’t forget LBJ and AD.
They traded for one of the biggest salaries in the league in Russ thinking they’d be able to win with him. Obviously that was a big mistake. It is disingenuous though to say the Buss family doesn’t spend money. Caruso was great and a terrific compliment to the LBJ/AD tandem but I don’t think he wasn’t worth what he got from CHI. And I think CHI will tell you the same thing.

Truth is that there are owners that are all in to win now. I agree that Lacob and Balmer (and the like) are going to spend whatever it takes to win.

That doesn’t mean that the Buss family won’t spend to win . I definitely don’t believe that the window to win under the Buss family is closed.

There's been a lot of chatter that NBA is going to get a big increase in TV money after 2024-25 season. NBA is looking to get triple the current deal, as they saw the NFL get a huge increase in TV money.

So Bill Simmons says cap is going to spike and max players are going to get $70 million a year in 3-4 years.

Some teams giving out big contract may be depending on that big TV money increase and a cap spike. But with the new TV deal, there will probably be a new CBA.

I see a hard cap in the future if it spikes that much.

Watching a little bit of the Spurs game against the Clips.
Poeltl and Richardson look absolutely horrible.

I want no part of them if we trade with the Spurs, which is a long shot to begin with

Garland with 51 points tonight.

Imagine if we didn't trade for AD, drafted Garland, kept the young core, and just used the cap space that we had for a solid center and shooting guard back in 2019.

Valancuinas, Mcgee
James, Kuzma
Ingram
Rozier, Hart
Ball, Garland
