There’s zero justification for keeping Russ on this team. If you can’t trade him, John Wall him and send him home.

Why is Anthony “Big Owie” Davis only playing 30 minutes per game?

44 threes (most of them open or wide open), 26 FTs, only 9 turnovers should be incredible offense. Even something lousy like 13-42 from three and it’s a win. The defense played really well.

Beverly is +9 in this game, BTW.

Jeanie really extended Pelinka after he assembled this roster.

Even with below average shooting from NBA players, they’d likely have a good chance at 2-0 vs. the top two teams in the West. Not sure they can ever be even be just barely below average since most of these shots are wide open.

Loved the defensive effort from Westbrook today, the team was really impressive and fun to watch on the defensive end in general.

But *man* the offense is rough.

Indy or not, it is unequivocally clear they need to make a trade. This team has some potential and I've liked what Ham has shown so far schematically. They're generating good looks and can offer some lineups with surprising defensive versatility. They have $47 mil in outgoing salary to bring back two or three players to round things out.

She is ecstatic about this roster. It’s cost effective/ budget friendly. On top of that she still has her two golden picks.

I just can't believe they thought it was okay to assemble a team with this kind of shooting in 2022, especially after last season, and especially when you know Lebron synergizes incredibly well with shooters. Truly incredible incompetence. You can't expect to win games with this level of shooting anymore.

If they really wait until after Thanksgiving to consider trades the record might be so bad that they'll conclude it's not worth trading the picks.

If you’re not gonna trade Russ, please trade LeBron. He’s still got a good amount in the tank and this team is built the exact opposite of how a LeBron team should be.

I think it will be hard for him to keep his scoring up with how terrible the spacing is.

Honestly they played better than expected. Just a bad shooting luck against 2 very good defenses. Walker looks pretty decent for a mini mid level guy. The main problem that AD is already hurt and still not as good as 19-20 AD(let alone his Pelicans version)

I have a question and that is can Lebron still request a trade this season if he wants to despite signing a extension.
Reggie Jackson is amazing and a killer in the clutch that's all.

Everybody is talking about LBJ not having enough shooters. But I don't remember shooters getting any credit for that Cleveland run in 2018 when LeBron had nothing but shooters around him. This is a shooters league today, and even LBJ can't have a great impact without them.

That team shot 33% from 3 in the playoffs which was 2% below league average.
