UTA and PHX do this after placing one billion dollars at a 1:1300 bet for sixers to win championship.
PHX will use money to pay for Sarver’s retirement while Jazz will use money to pay OKC to not tank for wembayama.

Korkmaz and a couple 2nds to the Magic for Cole Anthony.
They need a bench scorer. That role does not suit Melton.

Go get Coby White. I think he's the most underappreciated young player in the league right now. The guy has elite dribble and elite shooting traits. He's a born scorer. And he's 6'5".

I agree but what would you be willing to pay him going forward?

Maybe 4 years, $75m.
If he eventually gets unhappy with minutes/touches, he'll always be moveable because his skillset is very covetable.

If the Bulls will take Korkmaz, Springer, a couple 2nds, and some cash for Coby? Sure.
But I imagine they will want Thybulle and/or a 1st. Which is a no at this point, unless they have another cheap decent wing lined up to replace Thybulle in that same deal.

Re: Fantasy Trade Thread
Charlotte is a tire fire right now off the court. Seems to me, with the Ball camp lingering around, they need to get it together quickly. Moving off Hayward and getting some much needed character in their locker room, as well as a scoring boost, ought to be very appealing to them.
I would propose Harris and Thybulle for Hayward and Washington.
If you hate the idea of Hayward, I imagine you could flip him to Indy for Hield pretty easily?

I was literally thinking about this the other day lol.
Does it make us better, worse, or the same defensively?
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:
Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Edgecombe/Grimes/Gordon
George/Oubre/Edwards
Watford/Barlow/Walker
Embiid/Drummond/Bona/Broome

They've always liked Thybulle I think, so just offer him straight up

I think we get better defensively because PJ would take Niang’s minutes off the bench. I’ve been talking up the idea of a Tobi/Hayward trade for a couple years now because I think Hayward would be a perfect fit. Injury risk is the only reason to hesitate but also the only reason Charlotte would consider doing this trade.
My guess is that PJ would be a sticking point because his value is so much higher than Thybulles

I think Harris to Hayward is a pretty big downgrade defensively though. A 1-2-3 of Harden-Maxey-Hayward might cripple us defensively.

Re: Fantasy Trade Thread
I think Hayward is a downgrade defensively at PF, but an upgrade defensively at SF. Given that Tucker is playing next to Embiid, Hayward at the 3 probably makes us slightly better defensively than Harris does.

Sixers can't afford that with the hard cap. Thybulle is around 4.5 and White is around 7.

Re: Fantasy Trade Thread
We've gotta keep close tabs on Draymond. Any trade for him would probably have to involve 3 teams though.
Edit:
GSW out: Green
GSW in: Barnes, Thybulle
PHI out: Harris, Thybulle
PHI in: Green, Holmes
SAC out: Barnes, Holmes
SAC in: Harris
Harden/Maxey/Springer
Melton/Milton/Korkmaz
House/Niang
Green/Tucker/Reed
Embiid/Holmes/Harrell

Re: Fantasy Trade Thread
Moses Moody is getting no playing time in Golden State for the 2nd straight year.
He's 6'6" 205 and pretty skilled. He can be a really good starting SG in this league.
The Warriors would love Thybulle as a specialist off their bench. Make the swap.

PJ Washington was a guy we should have tried to pry away last year before Miles got in trouble. Now he's clearly taking the opportunity to maximize his worth before cashing in on a huge contract.
Meanwhile, Thybulle sits on the bench and his value couldn't be any lower going into his contract year.

Bright side, cheap to re-sign?

Glenn won’t play young guys like that. Unless they’re workaholics like Maxey. Who Glenn still wouldn’t really play as a rookie. Even when he won a playoff game practically by himself.
