I’m not gonna panic because we still have the outlines of a really really good team. At some point though the front office is going to need to cash in these contracts and picks for some real front court help.

Dru Smith very lucky he got that 500k this year. He should invest and manage a subway after all this-MettaWorldPanda

Trying to avoid the 3rd foul on Deadmon.

Obviously though I would’ve prefer Jovic there tho

Spo would probably put in Chris Quinn to get smaller before even thinking about Jovic

The problem with the run it back argument is that we’re running it back but worse. Any internal growth would’ve still happened even if PJ stayed.

With that said again I’m not panicking. We have salaries to match now and picks. Just gotta find the right guy. Maybe the Kings will finally blow it up

Riley doesn’t run chit no more unless he’s been brainwashed with this small ball garbage.

The energy around this team is really bad holy ****. EVERYONE is just going through the motions, both players and fans. You'd think for our home opener against the Celtics after an ECF loss that it'd be a playoff atmosphere tonight...it feels like a February game against the Kings.

Problem is we have very bad matching salaries. They are not valuable like expiring's. Will be very tricky trying to improve and will cost us minimum 2 picks

Considering our offseason not surprised. This internal growth and playing Martin at the 4 was the old used car salesmen pitch by Riley and the organization. Thing is they could have at least made some minor roster construction tweaks but this team reeks of Moe Harkless and Avery Bradley offseason 1st round exit if that.

Agreed. They looked deflated after the first quarter last game too
