Towns is not a winner. The way he carries himself hurts him and the team. Mark already looks like he's the leader. We don't have a leader or hustle because Towns and Rudy are too slow. I feared that Towns didn't play enough PF for this experiment to work.

Whatever you guys do, just no more trading with Danny Ainge. Dude always wins.

It'll be years before they figure out how this Jazz team is still good.

I never thought Twolves would be this bad in its first 2 games against non playoff teams. Horrendous.

Let’s get Phil and run the triangle.

Only half joking.

If we got Bam, Robinson and Omer here from Miami that would be nice.

This was embarrassing. Why do teams shoot lights out from three against this damn team every time??

Because he was horrible. I haven't seen that kind of entitlement since Wiggins. I thought he was benching guys for not playing well. that was bs. If we're winning by double digits, then leave him in to play himself out of the slump. but the game is still on the line.

You're right. I just can't think of a mobile scoring PF or C that we could trade for.

My thoughts.

1. The officiating really hurt us. The foul trouble in the first half, letting Utah beat up on us without getting foul trouble themselves, the momentum shift as a result of the no calls, it all hurt. Even at the end, clear foul by Olynyk on Towns, review says double foul. On the second review clear foul by Connelly on Towns, the review says no foul. That foul would have been 5 and the sixth came a short time later, MC is gone. V8 was in there when he should have fouled out. Olynyk would have been gone sooner, or at least not been as grabby. We weren’t allowed to play with the same physicality, and it deflated us.

2. They wanted it more than we did. They just fought harder for rebounds, to get through screens, to go after 50/50 balls. They just fought harder.

3. Ant and his hero ball is just plain bad. He stopped playing defense in the fourth quarter, leading to multiple uncontested 3s. Nowell dropped 10 points in the 3rd and we benched him in the fourth. I will never understand why Finch hates him so much. Just bad coaching by an otherwise solid coach.

4. We need to figure out our schemes. We look lost on defense, and I think we don’t even have a plan on offense. I know Finch loved controlled chaos, but this isn’t that. This is just random chaos, with random results.

Hopefully we look back at our 81-1 season later and remember why this loss was so important to us winning the remaining 80 games of the regular season.

Man... Imagine keeping last year's team and just trading for Mark adn keeping Kes as KAT insurance. Towns could have still played his game by blowing by Cs. Now he's not blowing by anyone.

I think the players on the Jazz were hungry for redemption from the trade.
