I'm personally not a fan of moving Thybulle at this point. However Thybulle/Korkmaz for Crowder/+(2nd?) probably be something Rivers would like. Could have kept Joe on the roster.

If I'm making the call it's already done.

Now, who are you giving us for Tobias?

There's only two years left on Tobias. It feels like we've finally gotten to the point where he can legitimately be the salary matcher with picks for a disgruntled star.

That has got to be on Morey's radar as the deadline approaches.

I would love it if a young star asked out, like Booker, Gilgeous-Alexander, or Towns.

I guess Durant or Lillard is more likely.

Let's say we do trade for Crowder.

Where does he fit in the scheme of things?

Ideally, he's playing the P.J. Tucker role, correct? Small ball PF with shot attempts from three and toughness on defense.

So trading for Crowder, you significantly cut down on Tucker's use, right? Like instead of Tucker playing 30+, he's playing like 18-20 and Crowder is playing the rest of those.

Probably. Would Crowder be content coming off the bench though? Isn't that his issue at the moment?

The only one of those that is possible IMO is the diva Durant. The Suns would have to implode for Booker to want out.

They don’t have the picks to add to Harris for a star though.

Harris for Richardson and McDermott.

Let JRich start with Harden, and bring Maxey and Melton off the bench as the 2nd wave.

Harden’s disinterest in defense is affecting Embiid it seems.

Wonder if the Bulls might be willing to talk about Harris, Thybulle, and a 1st for LaVine?

Leaves no room for Tobi. Bonus.

Team needs two 3&D SFs like they have for the last 3-4 years.

Doc has to get Giraridi'd.

Roll with Sam Cassell.

Morey has to go.

Harden
Tucker
Tobi
Crowder
Embiid

Now you can switch everything then run heavy Biid-Harden PnR and heavy Biid of Harden iso. Also helps on defensive rebounding and transition defense.

Harden-Tucker-Tobi-Crowder are switchable 1-4. They’re not lengthy but they are quick in rotating to opponents when you have to send help on defense. Then if this still gives you problem, you can start exploring inserting Melton or Reed to replace 1 or 2 of them

Melton + 2 of Tucker-Tobi-Crowder + Harrell + one of Biid or Harden

I.E

Harden
Melton
Tobias
Tucker
Harrell

Maxey
Melton
Tucker
Crowder
Embiid

Buddy Hield and Isaiah Jackson for Tobi and Tisse.

Buddy adds a volume three pointer to come off the bench and match with Harden. Isaiah Jackson has upside to be one of the best defensive F/C in the league, something we clearly are struggling with.

My only apprehension is that Paul Reed can provide basically what Jackson does, but Doc clearly doesn't like him. So I don't think much will change with Jackson.

Any moves I consider is hampered by Doc's inability to use players that fix our deficiencies (defense/rebounding, particularly in the interior).

I like it. Jackson can rebound, hit free throws, and is an elite per-minute shotblocker. And he's a versatile enough switch defender to guard ball handlers.

Hield immediately solves our 3pt make problem.

Hield and Harden definitely would work... A high volume 3pt shooter that can slightly put the ball on the floor. Definitely a better fit than Tobias who is not a wing. Our offense is slow and lacks space. We need pace and space around harden and Embiid. We lack that. Also Maxey needs to be our 6th man. Jordan Poole and the boul from Miami thrive in that role.
