Yeah I read concussion protocol, so likely no him and no Zion.

I would have preferred play against a full Pels squad but that's ok, take the W

DSJr playing great for Hornets. I quitely wanted Mavs to give him another chance even though a lot of people here didn't agree. Too bad that this FO is so afraid of taking risks, so instead we ended up with freaking Facu.

Anyway, no Ingram and Zion for this one, still will be a tough one if Mavs relax too much.

The guy wanted to be here, i would have given him a try.

But Facu is not so bad, don't worry he will be good.

Good for Smith, but he's is putting up good numbers on a crap team just like he did here.

Doesn't matter, they have a winning record and he's playing good. He's at least a servicable backup guard option, much better than someone like Frank for example.

Did I miss something???

They're 2-1 not 40-15.

Again, why does that matter? What is the logic behind this? People often complained that Wood would be useless on a good team now they're saying he's the better version of KP. If DSJ could have been a better version of someone like Frank, that would already be a huge win for Mavs.

It matters cuz you're taking a 3 game sample size from someone who hasn't done anything for years. Wood still has a long way to go to prove himself... thus his current contract. No one should be penciling him as a savior until we see more.

And what has Frank done in years or Facu.. or Pinson? DSJ was always a decent defender as much as Frank but had a much higher upside on offense. Signing him for dirt cheap would have still been a decent choice since he said he would welcome a return to Mavs.

The fascination this board has with guys who might play 10 mins is unreal. Him wanting to be here has nothing to do with the team wanting him. No contenders were interested in him which should tell you all you need to know.

Roddy B could drop 20 in a pickup game and people would be like "I cant believe we let him go!!!"

Yes but they are a better record than us right now so you can't say they are a crap team.
Of course everybody know that we are a better team. No doubt.

I don't see neither contender wanting Pinson, Facu or Frank

DSJ could be a good backup 3th ballhandler in our situation. Nothing more. But we love him for his past days here.

Again I'm not saying those guys are good and they aren't going to get many minutes. Acting like DSJ is superior to the others listed is hilarious.

If DSJ was here over any of those 3 how many extra games do they win? 0-2 would be my guess.

DSJ is worse then all the mentioned. He is more flashy, but saying he is as good as frank defensively is just making a joke out of all you posts.

Personally i wouldnt have minded him instead of facu, i would definetly prefer him over the kembas of the nba. But he is no playmaker really, just too bad iq. So if i have to choose between Franks defense and dsjs iso offense, i take frank every day.
