The team committed to building a team in Jimmy's image in a way they hadn't with any player here. That meant those physical, veteran players like Lowry, Morris, Tucker, and obviously Jimmy's influence was key. So don't start talking that bull that Riley has fumbled "every step of the way" when they were lockstep with the best player's wishes.
Lmao at you trying to blame all the roster construction on Jimmy! I’m sure Jimmy didn’t tell Pat to fall asleep at the wheel all summer and not do whatever he could to improve the team.
Good lord; it’s unreal to me how Riley and to a lesser extent Spo just get a pass on literally anything from some of you.
Where did you see me blame the roster construction on Jimmy? Stop being a damn diceater. That's the problem some of yall always looking for a bogeyman to blame everything. Riley has been fumbling "every step of the way" yet the team "he" built was a win away from the Finals. Is it Riley's fault that guys decided to punk out in the playoffs? No, players have to do their damn job. Now they've got a hole to fill right now in the front court, and probably find another scorer for the bench since Oladipo cant be relied upon but there is time to make a deal. The whole sky is falling and the FO never gets anything right shtick is corny as ****.
I’m not blaming one person, I’m blaming everyone top to bottom. Majority have been bad or haven’t lived up to expectations. If there was ever an offseason that was clear as day we needed to make a move to put this team over the top it was this last one. Instead we got smaller and just sat in our hands. He has time to turn it around but it needs to be sooner rather than later. Airp gave you many different fumbles.
So now you see they have holes after pulling the high and mighty card all summer lol if you know ball you knew this team wasn’t going to cut it. We tried to tell you.
Let’s hope something changes fast, whether it’s a roster move or 2, change in play style, etc.
