I was fine with Cade. I wanted Haliburton over Hayes called him "Andre Miller with a 3 point shot" before the draft and Haliburton is looking like a star and Hayes looks like he doesn't belong... but no one gets them all right. At some point just need to cut your losses and try to develop other guys. Right now I'd have all our ball handling done by Cade and Ivey having them split time to develop those guys I hate wasting possessions on still trying to polish that turd that is Killian Hayes.

That $7M+ option for next season sucks. Aside from being horrible, part of the reason I despise watching him play is the fact it reminds me of who we passed up in the draft for him and that he’s still under contract next season.

He's been incredibly disappointing so far. He looked like he might be turning a corner in preseason, but he's been awful in the first 4. Still, he's the only guard playing anything resembling NBA level defense, so I'm not sure what good benching him is going to do.
