Green lol. Shouldn't have to give up more than a #7 and I wouldn't even do that.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Looks like we inquired about Cooks as well.

Read on Twitter

Cooks’ trade scenarios remain unclear with a league source predicting he’ll ultimately remain with the Texans as the Nov. 2 trade deadline approaches, barring an extremely competitive offer for the former Oregon State standout.

That isn’t from lack of interest, though. Cooks has been the subject of multiple trade inquiries, including the Green Bay Packers, Kansas City Chiefs and the Rams. Nothing has advanced into anything that could be characterized as developing at this time heading into next Tuesday’s deadline.

They've targeting Green so Rodgers looks less washed up by comparison :)

Amazing route runner, but has no hands and does not go up for contested catches

They could definitely use some edge rusher depth. I think part of their late game struggles are because both Smith and Gary are playing a **** ton of snaps.

If only we had someone already on the team and heartily embracing Wisconsin to fulfill this role...

You can never have too many pass rushers but with Enagbare looking like the real deal, I don't see it as much of a need at all.

Some dude on Packers Reddit saying we're working on a trade for DJ Moore.

Obviously take it with a grain of salt, but with all the other transactions over the last few months that have been reported by a random Redditor before any media or journalist (McCaffrey, DaVante), who knows.

Not many options for WR. Chase Claypool, Jets WR Moore or Mims, Brandin Cooks.

Maybe Seattle's Metcalf or Lockett

I still like DJ Moore for a 2nd or 3rd. I don't really like his contract, unless he produces.

But if Rodgers is leaving or washed, definitely don't want long term if we are rebuilding.

Basaraki on YT that does a daily packer video, says he has two sources that said they are talking and the $ is the question. So not sure if the reddit guy is one and the same or if the two guys are connected, but it makes a lot of sense if we can find a way to get it done. Obviously depending on how much of the contract gets eaten by the panthers and how much we give up, which I am guessing will not be cheap.

The Packers going out and getting a washed up AJ Green to make it look like they are doing something would be hilarious and pathetic. But it would also be the most predictable Packers thing ever. The front office probably thinks the fans will be hyped because we got ''AJ Green''. Actually, 80% of the Packer's fan base probably would act like it's still 2014 and be like Holy ****, we got AJ Green!!!

The Packer's front office preys on those people.....lol.

I said it probably over 10 years ago now, the Packers are the Herb Kohl era Bucks, it's just not as noticeable to most people because we have a hall of fame QB. I know it's a new front office than we had 10 years ago, but they still run the team with the same mentality.

That mentality is why they didn't trade Aaron Rodgers 2 years ago when he still had pretty insane value coming off an MVP season. That mentality is why they fired Mike McCarthy 5 years too late and squandered a big chunk of Rodgers' prime. The Packers as an organization have been nothing more than a clown show with a hall of fame quarterback for many many many years.

That's the thing I don't get with the Packer FO. WTF do they care about fan reaction? It's not like its going to alter the waiting list for season tickets, or impact logo stuff sales. That stuff will run like a metronome, regardless of how "ept" or inept the product is on the field.

A bit of hyperbole? Maybe, but not much

The time to make a trade before the deadline to bolster the roster was 2019 or 2020 or 2021 or 2011-2016 when the Packers were heading towards the playoffs, ya know like the Rams did last year in acquiring Von Miller and the undefeated Eagles did today in trading for Robert Quinn.

No sense in making a trade at 3-5 when there is little chance of making a Super Bowl run.

But have no fear, the Packers will do what they always do and just sit on their hands and there will be no meaningful trade.

And then the fans that the front office preys on will spout off about how Gutey tried to make a trade but none was available or about how it is all for the best because we didn't want a veteran coming in and taking snaps from Watson, Doubs, or Amari Rodgers anyway.

This is the most risk-averse front office in the NFL and that will continue to be the case until the current team President and GM have moved on and are replaced by individuals from outside the organization.
