2ND Q: SPURS 53 WOLVES 68

We are a decent 8-17 from 3 but have given up 13-21, so that's most of the lead right there.

We have to get out at their shooters far faster, and disrupt passes along the way better.

We are 7-7FTs so that's a noticeable improvement.

We've taken nine more shots but have made five fewer. Lots of missed bunnies at the rim on missed putbacks.

It hasn't bee a clean game either. TWELVE TOs already on which we have given up 16 points.

We don't look as sharp passing the ball and moving without it. There's more dribbling about, more indecision, longer decisions of what to do with the ball with a couple of key contributors out.

I do like that Romeo has played some stellar physical man D.

I love Sochan's burgeoning two-way game. He switches to guard 1-5, and can drive and make the 3.

Only Sochan (3-5), Jakob (2-3), JRich (2-4), Diop (3-5), and Romeo (2-3) are efficient but those who are taking the most shots are making least of them.

That and finding a more aggressive gear, not getting beaten on back door cuts, and communicating on D need to show better in the second half.

Nice burst to start and finisht the Q.

We're getting contributions from everyone, and the D tightened up in a good way with multiple deflections and steals.

How we finish the final frame in a game that we're in is a new situation for us. So we'll see how we respond to aggression with poise and assertiveness of our own.
