On a b2b night vs Mavs and they faves by -2. Easy money there.

Also pick Wood on your fantasy teams. He will give you 60+ pts vs this trash easy.

I have them ranked behind NFL and that's saying a lot for a Yankees fan watching Judge's low strike zone. NHL does a solid job and they have to break fights and they're on skates!

Yeah NFL refs suck but the review system kinda props them up on most big plays. The little stuff however is infuriating.

Go watch tape of Kayvon Thibodeaux of the NY Giants on pass rushes. Holding every time. No call.

Sorry but my hope Nick Bosa leads the league on being held without a flag!

Really? There's really nothing in his coaching history (or even player history really) that should've given any Nets fan hope.

Defense and rebounding is easily our weakness. Also, what's up with Ben? He moves so slow. I don't think he's fully recovered mentally & physically.

The only consolation tonight is the Philly loss. I know, I'm dreaming Vic...

Part of me understands as he's still getting into game shape after being out for so long, but his recovery is a huge hindrance to the team right now.

Oh yea, absolutely.

I barely give him any praise so this one, I'll salute him.

This team needs fire and balls.... compete to win!

If that's the case, then he needs to be coming off the bench first and start Harris. Playing against bench players will help him in his recovery.

I dont think that he's close to being fit

He was grabbing at his back early & barely gets out of a trot during games

With Nash as a HC anything is hope , including local gym trainers and street cones

We're definitely getting smacked tomorrow. Then we have 5 winnable games. Indiana X2, Chicago, Washington, Charlotte.

We've legitimately had a tough schedule. So I'm OK being patient now. If we don't fix this thing by game 10 - my guess is we start looking to blow this up. This team looks worse than last years team.

It won’t happen right away, Nash will be fired first

The refs cost us this game, Giannis was throwing his shoulders, elbows and arms around but Nets were being called for the fouls. Those tech fouls were worth it, the refs need to hear about themselves because that was straight robbery the way they officiated, I'm sure they was betting on this game. After all those bogus fouls, it changed the way the Nets guarded Giannis because they knew the refs were going to call the BS fouls. Then they had the nerve to try to make it up by calling fouls for us at the end of the game SMH these guys were definitely betting and NBA needs to have them under a microscope. You know it's bad when Nash gets thrown out lol guy doesn't say a word ever.

Either way, when the score was 83-86 we couldn't buy a bucket. We had great looks but couldn't knock one down. Harris, KD, Oneal , Patty and Kyrie had some good looks but it didn't go in. We played decent defense on Giannis but we had to press more harder and not allow him to drive full speed at the basket. Ben Simmons actually played solid D on giannis too and there were like 2 plays where it should of been offensive foul on Giannis. Anyway, let's start Joe until Ben gets his swagger back.

I thought and said the same thing after last game. I still believe it but think Harris might need a little more time, and some of the patience we are showing Ben. With all the open misses we made tonight, I did some checking and I wonder if we haven't overstated our shooting abilities (beyond KD and KAI). Basketball Ref isn't up to date so I may have screwed up some numbers when making my notes. But I have Harris shooting just under 30% and averaging less than 4 points. To complicate matters Mills' shooting fell off in the second half of last year, and he averaged only 2 makes a game in the playoffs. I thought he was back after his first two games this year. But in these last two games he's gone 2 for 6, averaging 3 points. I hope Curry comes back firing, because TJ has been out even longer than Joe.

I think it was "MGrand" who mentioned the urgency of the big man situation. Never has it been more apparent than in this game. I was only a little worried about it before. You would think that with all the open perimeter misses we would attack the rim more. But except for Kyrie's constant penetration all we had were a couple of drives, post ups, and a back door by Kevin. No knock on Nic who has been playing great this year, but it looks like we do need additional center help. And now it appears not just for defense.

I trust Marks and believe he has been handicapped by our luxury tax status. I think we could have otherwise gotten at least one of the LA players with less of an exemption in the Dinwiddie trade. My choice would have been Kuzma although, in retrospect, that probably wouldn't have solved our center problem.

I might be over-reacting and this game could have been an aberration with our 39.5% and 25.9% shooting. If so I'll change my mind again in a couple of days.

Solid line up

Look how much better things look when Ben doesn't have to worry about another big clogging the paint.

Same thing goes for Clax.

Marks needs to get aggressive with a trade.

Yeah, he does.

This may be unpopular but i would flip Cam for a big that can shoot. I don't see a role for Cam honestly

It’s not (or at least, shouldn’t be) unpopular.

Given the payroll, the Nets (in theory) should be title contenders. Yet most of us seem to rate them as 1st or 2nd round fodder, as currently constructed.

Marks should be doing everything in his power to improve the team and make it the best possible version of itself, because our window to win is almost closed.

Unless Nets brass believe Cam or any other youngster is truly a superstar in the making, they should be traded for ‘win now’ pieces.
