If this is the state of his jumper then the Lakers never had a chance this season.
I foolishly hoped he'd be sharper than this to start the season.
His jumper has been absolute trash but I’m sure he’ll figure it out. It makes no difference though if nobody on the team can hit wide open 3’s. The paint is more packed than it’s ever been and LeBron is older…not a good combo.

Even if you thought they would win 50 then you have to know that they'd likely start at 2-5 at best.. their first 7 games are brutal.

Eh, it's not about the record. The only role player who looks decent is Lonnie. Other guards borderline unplayble, bigs are unplayble. Lebron and AD not good enough anymore to carry this kind of squad

Put him on Philadelphia or Clippers or something. I personally would love to see him back in the Heat or going to Dallas.
That is a curious question.
I mean, apparently Lebron does have max trade value, many many many...I mean many teams could use Lebron.
There should be all kinds of offers coming from every team.....
He isn't tradable this season. Nice try though.
Wow he can't be traded...so does that make his value high or low on the trade market. But I'm sure the Lakers will still get a lot of offers in the offseason. A lot more than Westbrook of course.....
I'm so tired of the typical......

These 8 look decent enough IMO
Bev, Lonnie, Reaves, Brown, JTA, LeBron, Gabriel, Davis
Schroeder and Bryant are yet to play.
There are 10 guys here that could make a good RS team.
Schroeder, Beverley, LeBron, Davis, Bryant
Lonnie, Reaves, Brown, JTA, Gabriel
Westbrook might be decent as a 6th man but if not trade him to upgrade this team of 10.

He's definitely shot poorly but I think it's pretty difficult to legitimately evaluate anyone on this roster considering the spacing situation. It's also still early in the season and historically he always starts very slow.
Even with as bad as he's been (and I know it's only been 5 games) but he is posting a +11.5 on/off which is the highest by far among the major rotation guys. I do wonder what will happen when Bryant and Jones can play (if they ever in the first place), this team is desperately missing a legit center who can screen and take lobs.

A) It's been only 4 games, so even less reason to panic B) He's behind Beverley in on/off, +19.4.

Ya know what's the one thing I hate most about THT? He took away LeBron's ability to finish with his left hand =/
LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord

Im all for shipping him away. He fills no function on this team as presently constructed. He's not young so there's nothing to look forward to and we dont have the roster to contend. Trade him away along with AD it'd make the season for me. Im about fed up with him missing layups and arguing with the refs whilst opposing team swishes a wide open three because he couldn't be bothered to run back.
Thanks for the chip but time to move on. We'd still get a decent haul for both him and AD.

Lakers are a top defense. If you're worried about them getting back on defense then you're focussing on the wrong things.

I'd say us being a top defense has a lot to do with AD right now. Might be wrong but i'd like to see our top defense with him out. He's always the catalyst. Lebron had 2-3 incidents against nuggets where he gets mad he doesn't get a call and talks to the refs instead of running back. One that stood out was him just jogging past Bones Hyland who was wide open for three whilst Lebron just ignored him. Matt Ryan was spurting from the corner to try and contest the shot because he thought Lebron was going to defend. It's too **** much of that from him. Again he probably has a lot in the tank still but not on this team he doesn't. It's clear as day to me he knows we aren't going anywhere. Still not an excuse for the piss poor effort.

He “fills no function” because your genius owner and GM constructed the worst offensive team in the NBA around him. And yet he’s still a +11.5 on/off. That’s his highest since 2016/2017. Last year he was only a +2.1. Him having that high of an on/off while still being a -5.4 on court shows how disgustingly horrible this team is.
LeBron and AD are your last shot at contention for a long, long time. They just have to put a competent team around them. The Lakers aren’t getting anymore superstars after how they’ve treated LeBron. Why go to LAL and deal with Jeanie getting wine drunk and subtweeting you when you can go to the other LA team and play with an owner richer than god in a brand new arena? And that’s just one option. The dunces in charge of your team aren’t getting top tier talent anytime soon. So be careful wishing them away.

Right my bad he's completely awful that right there proves it. Dude is a damn cone on defense. He's probably out for the coming game. Lets see that top 5 defense without AD.

Yeah good luck with that. Hair Gel can’t build a play-in lock with Anthony Davis and LeBron James on his team. You think he’s going to magically grow a brain if he trades them? Laker fans turning on LeBron 4 games into the season after Rob/Jeanie surrounded him with literally trash is the least surprising thing in the world.
As for AD’s defense, of course he’s not a traffic cone on D. But you pretending that the defense is 100% because of him and 0% because of LeBron is silly. One guy is a -14 on/off, the other guy is a +11.6. That wouldn’t be the case if the latter was a traffic cone on defense.
But I’m completely onboard the trade LeBron train. Quite literally any team/organization in the NBA would be an upgrade for him.

Wishing them away as opposed to what lol? Watching this **** show of a product? Yeah i'd rather take a shot in getting a decent haul and hope Pelinka isn't completely inept.
