OT: Can anyone fill me in on all this Kanye stuff?

I looked to see if anyone started an off topic discussion about this and didn’t see one so I apologize if it was already addressed.

Can anyone tell me WTH is going on with him and the headlines? All I’ve read and heard is that he made some antisemitic remarks but I can’t find a direct quote anywhere.. Honest thread here, not looking to turn this political. Anyone help a brother out?

He went on the Lex Fridman podcast recently to clarify his position.

He feels like he was screwed in business deals by what he calls the Jewish media.

Lex is of Jewish descent and didn’t like the fact that he says “Jewish media”. Kanye points out the fact that all those businesspeople were Jewish. Does that make it the Jewish media? I guess that’s up to the listener to decide.

Also made a remark that babies being aborted is also a holocaust. All this while saying that we should forget the past, look more towards a better future and just he Human, forgetting the subdivisions.

I like a lot of what Kanye says but just from my post you can tell that he contradicts his own statements.

It wasn't the clarification that got him into this mess. Kanye thought he was Donald Trump and could get away with saying anything no matter how despicable or absurd. I am sure there is a lesson for him and the rest of us in all this, not sure he or any of us will find it though.
