Sticky hands DLo tied him for the assist lead.

True, but…
What did DLo score again? Plus minus?
It’s in the details. Dlo would be so good if he could play off ball more.

Your son KAT did a fairly decent job of keeping the wine in the bottle tonight. Liked what I saw for the most part.

I'm very confused. Did you just say he didn't totally suck giant donkey tonight?

I am ready to move on from him. Only problem is there is no one on the market to replace him with.

Rubio would do wonders with this squad and I’d gladly take him over DLo.

Let dlo walk and trade Kat for a real PF and a starting pg. then sign Ricky as backup Pg? This is ant and Rudy’s team now.

Ant was amazing in the first half. 5 made threes in the first quarter was sick. He made nice passes to MCD for open 3s, had a hockey assist to someone else as well. It was all coming up Ant. But in the 2nd half, Ant was not as good. 5 TOs is bad. Rushing shots in the late 4th with a 10 point lead is bad. Refusing to pass late game is bad. Ant was on the floor with both Nowell and MCD who played out of their minds tonight. That affected plus minus quite a bit.

Dlo needs to play defense. Offensively 1 for 4 from 3 is a problem, but 5 for 10 with 12 points and 9 dimes is excellent.

We have 6 players who on any given night can drop 20. We have two more bench players who when given enough shots and minutes can give you 20 (Prince and Naz.) This team is deep.

I love Finch, but 21 minutes for a guy who dropped 23 on 9 of 13. You need to reward that kind of hot hand, especially when he plays D on top of it.

Let me get this straight. After a nice win you come here talking about breaking up the team and pretty much starting all over?

I agree in principle. BUT, I disagree about a nice win. This is the kind of win that would have pissed you off on opening night. 16 turnovers, allowing the opponent to hit 16 3s on 44% shooting. Letting them get 14 offensive boards. We shot lights out, I mean 20 made 3s on 58.8% shooting and won 134 to 122 against a Spurs team missing two key rotation players (cannot remember if they are starters.) This was an ugly win, just less ugly than some of the others because of good shooting numbers. We MUST do better, especially in the third quarter.

You can always find things we didn't do well, but it was an easy win against a 3-1 team coming into the game. I say that's nice.

Try this style against Phoenix and see how easy it is. This is the “extended preseason” as Dane Moore has dubbed it. We should be playing as though we are trying to improve, not treading water against the weakest links while not fixing our mistakes.

Two players isn’t starting over. Dlo sucks and I am over KAT and think the wolves should sell while his value is relatively high.

It's starting over. Rudy is also brand new to the team. Total starting over.

Vanderbilt would fit in quite nicely but apparently 5 firsts wasn't enough to give up for Gobert...

Agree on the overpay. Only thing I disagree with is V8 and Rudy ever sharing the floor. Too little spacing too much lane congestion.

Wolves fans are weird. Five games into our all-in move, some of them are looking fondly back on the Ricky Rubio years? How about we give the players, front office, and coaching staff some time to figure things out before we run two of our top 5 guys out of town?

I have said repeatedly this our most talented team, coach, FO, and most promising ownership situation (Glen seemingly transitioning out.) Of course it will take time to gel. BUT, what I have seen in five games is seriously concerning. I don’t think it is all lack of cohesion, and I don’t know how long it will take to fix. We need more defensive effort, we need more structure to our offense, and we especially, ESPECIALLY, need to BOX OUT. It was an issue last year, it is a c********k this year. We also need to find more minutes for Nowell. 21 minutes for a guy dropping 23 on 9/13 and 3/5 is malpractice.

Towns' ability to dribble penetrate in the half-court against a wing/mobile PF is a very big deal to this team I believe.
He did a pretty good job at it in this game and it's something I'm watching closely.
I'm worried about it because if he can't, it'll really limit his game and therefore the team. Hoping to see him continuing to effectively attack the rim in the half-court.

KAT has proven year after year that one man cannot guard him. That is why he was able to drop so many dimes last night. If he can score at all 3 levels (something else you saw last night,) that forces so much defensive attention that everyone else gets opportunities. Even if he couldn’t drive on say PG13 or Giannias, he could always pull up and nail the midrange, or step back and drain the triple. Moreover, 4/5 PNR and PNP is a weapon we know Finch wants use more, and KAT has the passing ability to pay Rudy off if necessary. The only questions are on defense, and I don’t think they are as much about KAT as one would expect. I mean honestly, in 5 games how many defensive fouls does he even have?

Mackey and Theige talked about it today....opposing coaches still fear Towns. He's still gotta be the first or second name on the scouting report every night. If he could just bottle that up and let his game do the talking would be huge. He no longer has to be the voice for the locker room.

21 minutes for Nowell is fine. Do you think he's a point a minute player so we should play him 40 minutes and he will average 40PPG and lead the league in scoring with highest PPG since Wilt?
