Bottom 10 sure, but not just last, but last by several points? How is that even possible? How are we worse than Houston? Or Sacramento? Or Charlotte and so forth. Orlando is a currently losing team with a bright future. So is Detroit, yet they double our score? How? Why? None of it makes much sense.

Paolo may be a friggin grand slam (and one I was wrong about). Even Cole was obviously a really good pick for where he was taken. Sure, some luck is involved, but it's clear we have developed a really good amount of young talent. They missed on some picks (Bamba, Chuma) but it's possible Wagner/Paolo could become a Tatum/Brown like duo. Credit to WeHam for that.

They got lucky on some
Draft picks but have yet been able to put a good team together .
People can’t get mad at the perception of the magic being badly ran when all the team does is lose . Even this year the magic have yet to win and injuries have something to do with it but when you sign guys with injury histories like g.Harris, fultz and Isaac that is on the front office .

Um, Paolo has played five games in the NBA and Wagner is in his second year. I still think it's reasonable to expect some improvement this year, but it isn't realistic to expect anywhere close to a .500 team. It takes several years for most teams. Nobody expected us to take Paolo, but we did and at least for now we look really smart for doing it. Wagner was in the range for us, but not many projected him to us. Now we look really smart for taking him. I'm sure they didn't expect him to be this good, but they should still get some credit for taking the right player.
Harris is still a helpful vet on a cheap contract. Fultz was a very minimal risk with potential high reward. Isaac can clearly play but the injuries have been a problem.
It's understandable to criticize the early years of WeHam, but they inherited a team that ownership still wanted to try to win. Since entering the rebuild, they have done a great job of getting assets for minimal risks and hitting on some draft picks. If Suggs never develops (I think he will), then they may have missed there. But it's too early to tell for that.
Look at the Pistons. Nobody can deny they should have a bright future and did an awesome job in the last draft. Yet they're still 1-4 and probably a bottom 10 team by year's end (which would still be an improvement).

If you were hired to run a sales division of a major company, and it's one of the worst-performing sales teams in the company when you start, and six years later it's even worse, and over those six years you threw millions of dollars at employees who call in sick every day, and even renewed their contracts instead of firing them when you had the chance...you get the idea.

If we all agree we’re in the bottom 10, if not bottom 5, there’s no point getting upset over being ranked dead last.

WeHam’s only management with Hennigan’s old roster was an evaluation year, a new coach and more evaluation which turned into an 8th seed, a sub .500 play-in spot and then a mid season roster blow up to start all out tanking for a season and a half.

They haven’t made any egregious mistakes, but they also haven’t hit any home runs before the Vuc trade, Franz, Paolo and maybe now Bol. Those moves are yet to pay dividends so it’s fair enough they’re not rewarded for them yet.

That said, their recent moves during this new tank could see them heralded as geniuses and top management in 3-4 seasons time. It’s a fickle league after all.

Im hopeful about the future and do like Paolo franZ and Bol . I’m just saying it’s not a surprise people outside of Orlando have a negative impression of the organization . I

It's an accurate ranking, they are absolutely terrible.

We should be last, I don’t blame them.

We lose our stars, we don’t attract free agents, we can’t keep a coach. I dont care if Sarver showed his pecker or did whatever it is he did, at least PHX wins games.

Maybe Martins should flash his perfectly gelled pubes to some coworkers so we can get this team going in the right direction
