This game was just a disgrace.

For 2 years we have had HORRIFIC 3 point defense. Its not effort. Its just scheme.

Why do we ALWAYS overhelp on 3 pointers. Constantly we overhelp and leave elite shooters wide open.

We were up by 4 with 3:11 left when Kidd made a brilliant move when he called for a time out after our time out. Took us right out of rhythm. We struggled and did make a basket for two minutes.

It's actually wasn't a bad game. There's something to look for if they keep same effort.
1. Need stretch five who can block shot on help D
2. Need TJ, that 3 consistent scorer is lacking.
3. D showed some signs of improvement. Couldn't execute same play in OT, but that can be fixed with chemistry.

All this can be worked out, it's just I don't like KD face expressions and body language. I just don't think he’s committed 100%. Yeah numbers there, but that effort and enthusiasm towards the game ... I don't know, I just don't like it.

Kyrie balled out, Ben starting to show signs he can be that All Star Ben again with time, DDJ had a good run, Yuta/ Sumner Need more PT etc.

All and all, if they keep this effort up and build something from here, this can be a dangerous team come PO.

Simmons was very lucky he had Durrant trailing on the fastbreak to tie it up. Pulled up on a fast break and looked like a deer in headlights, scared he was going to get fouled and have to go to the line to win it. He had no idea Durrant was there until he pivoted around. That's probably the worst I have seen from him. Got very lucky, but absolutely petrified out there.

Luka is smaller less athletic LBJ. Still great to be top 3 player in the game right now, can make a case he's the best player right now.

That was fun... until it wasn't.

This team still has no true PG and lacks team passing to set up good looks. So painful to watch as a general fan of bball.
