Bro you were just hyping this team a couple weeks ago lol.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

we gotta see if they're even good against the next tier yet. not in the bucks/celtics class but you still got the cavs/atl/sixers/nets/bulls/heat/raptors. that's 9 teams that should all be better.

we’re gonna lose against all of them besides prob the hawks and bulls

build a treadmill team and have a coach that believes in coaching a treadmill team

horrible combo

I'm still not sold on Brunson. This is what he is going to look like against physical defensive teams. People rave about him against the Jazz in the playoffs but forgot how the Warriors completely shut him down. He's ok for now but he's not exactly in his own tier on this team. Tonight he was awful and couldn't shake Jevon Carter off him and couldnt do much against the Bucks length and defense

...the reason people 'forgot' is because that didn't happen. He got around his season averages so 'shut him down' is in your imagination.

Or generally why we made a ready now pick at pf when we were looking to retain Randle long term. We've been fairly baffled ourselves.

I thought the team showed a lot of fight didn’t give up etc. but you have to play much better to beat a top tier nba team on the road and it wasn’t our best effort for a lot of players. Brunson got clamped and that basically ended us. Hope other teams don’t figure that out

I give it 2 years max before the next president of the Knicks (likely Dolan’s friend or a celebrity) is “rebuilding” the team again.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

it goes back to the front office having zero plan. They call it just being opportunistic but in reality they just make decisions in a vacuum and don't see the future impact of them.

and they will get 1 year to tank...and it will be a bad draft class then the mandate will be to start to see improvemnt.

Rinse wash repeat.

even then we'll dominate the piston/spurs/magic/pacers/ rockets/thunder.....and maybe the lakers lol. once brunson was signed tanking was over.

We wouldn't need to tank, this team just playing the young players would be in the lottery, and maybe we can give the Thunder the pick +other picks for SGA.

Randle's stats dont even tell how bad he was in this game. While we are wasting OBI on the bench. Even when 2nd unit bringing us back, thibs goes back to randle

No. I wasn't hyping anything. I have maintained this was a treadmill from day one. They look better against weak teams and will struggle against better teams. .500 teams look like this. This is a treadmill that will need internal growth for anything to improve.

42-45 wins is where I put this team if everything goes right.

People in here seeing the sky falling after this loss are not paying attention. Other people acting like they called this aren't calling anything we don't already know. This is not a very good team. This is not gonna be the worst team in the league either. The worst kind of treadmill since they like to give out underserved extensions instead of keeping the cap flexibility they had the last few years.

This has been my position from jump.
