Very good win, about time we finally got the first W. The defense was very impressive until garbage time. Bamba actually played well for a chance and actually rolled to the rim hard more than once in a blue moon. Paolo continues to be fantastic, I love his passing. But the shooting from 3 continues to be an issue and we will struggle to beat decent teams if we don't pick it up.

I worry for Clifford's health if he has to deal with knuckleheads like Oubre and Dennis Smith Jr. every game. Bouknight was also horrendous.

I'd say that was intentional for both Coaches.

He did all that in 17 minutes of playing time! Garbage or not, it was against large big men, hell even their 3rd stringers were all around 7ft!

Very unpopular opinion, ever since we grabbed Paolo I had concerns with WCJ and Paolo playing together and believed Bamba to be the better fit with Paolo, small sample size but it is looking that way so far. WCJ is the better player but regrettably, Bamba is the better fit imo, my hope is Isaac, if he ever plays, can play center which should be able to do everything Bamba does but way better, and move WCJ to the bench, then stagger lineups with Paolo and Isaac, and Wagner and WCJ which have a solid chemistry already.

Yeah i noticed the same, and even Mosley mentioned about Bamba and Banchero. Thing is Bamba is not a solution becouse he is not a starter level material. I was very high on Wagner/Banchero/WCJ but there is a chance WCJ will end up as a high level reserve. To be honest his salary points to this direction aswell. There is not a lot of players who can protect the rim and shoot the 3 like Isaac or Bamba so there is a chance we will still end up with WCJ in S5.

If WCJ has to die for Paolo to live, then we'll make the necessary sacrifice.

What will suck is if he's not the long-term solution, then we'll have only two guaranteed starters on the roster. We need someone else to step up and be useful!

Banchero/Carter pairing: -6.7 NET in 137 minutes
Banchero/Bamba pairing: -7.2 NET in 25 minutes

Neither pairing has been good, but it's not accurate that Paolo's been better with Bamba.
