Simmons is cooked, we’re circling back to KD at some point this season. Herro, Duncan and 4 picks will be sent out. Possibly Jovic too. This was all part of the plan to be able to keep Lowry Jimmy and Bam all on the Heat as KD requested. Herro had to be extended, his outgoing salary is now $26M allowing us to keep all 3 of those guys in a deal for KD.

Idk why people think that Ben is somehow going to magically get better. The dude is legit scared to get fouled. HE WILL NEVER BE A BETTER VERSION OF WHAT WE SEE. Dude is damaged goods. And he doesn't have the drive to get better on that end. Even on his best days. It was still playing 5 on 4 offensively. Dude never was, never has been, and never will be a guy that you can count on offensively to get you a bucket. He will drive all the way to the hoop. See someone there and pass it back out to half court because he is afraid he'll get hacked. The guy is straight up basura

Magically, no, through time with hard work and encouragement probably, at least better than what he is currently early on in his comeback.

44% FG%, 40% FT%, 7.9 ast, 7.2 reb, 6.5 pts, 94 ORTG, 119 DRTG.

Let's see if they're any better by the end of the season, I'm going to guess they will be, even Markelle Fultz has gotten better since leaving Philly after people said he was done. It takes time. It's these types of players that if you can buy low on can possibly pay huge dividends. Good lord Westbrook got traded multiple times as an asset in recent years.

I don't think hard work is part of his thing. Dude has major I'm happy to collect this paycheck vibes.

Herro gets the poison pill for this season cause of the extension, so his outgoing value for the Heat will be $5.7M while his incoming value for the receiving team will be ~$25-26M. It makes trades complicated when matching salaries but it's doable
