Spurs clearly play no games. Not even a suspension. Hopefully the kid is able to recover from this, immaturity at its best. I know mental health get thrown at everything to excuse things a little. Kid was probably being an immature idiot like most at that age. If its nothing more than this, I hope he gets better and is able to survive this and play ball. He has to hold this L, monetarily and socially.

It shouldn't absolve someone from their actions - he even had a teammate in Lonnie Walker who has been pretty open about his childhood and what he had to go through, and there are millions of people who were unfortunately molested/abused and have led relatively normal lives, but trauma does **** some people up and turn them into people they would've never been without those influences/situations going on. If stuff really did happen to him as a kid and it's not just some lame excuse, it's a sad situation, but actions have consequences.

Sounds like he’s living with some childhood trauma, there is a bit of a link between that and mental illness.

I hope he can get some help and rehabilitate himself if he’s not just using it as an excuse.

Yeah I’ll try to believe there is some trauma involved that made him keep this up and just immaturity being so young. Regardless of the trauma he needs to handle those demons and be away from the temptation in basketball. Has to hope no legal action of serious consequences will come against him.
