If we lost this game with the way he used the arms it would have put us in a bad situation moving forward. But he was resolute. Have to respect his approach.

A split in Houston is what most of us were hoping for.
Series goes back to South Broad. A Philly sweep would be awesome but I'll take 2 of 3.

Had to get one in Houston, and now we need two at the Bank. A sweep is unlikely, but would be amazing.

One down. And they didn't have to use either of their best two relievers.
Looking good for Red October.

And the only pitchers on the Phils who have given up any runs in the WS are their two aces - how unlikely is that?
Up 2-1 with Nola and Wheeler on deck. If we get normal performances by both, it could end right here at the Bank.

The objective has to be to win at the Bank. If you're burning both aces and Wheels is probably done for the post season (sans a all hands on deck game 7), you can't go back to Houston.

Pretty safe bet that Thomson will manage both games like game 7's if the Phils have a lead or even in a tie game. The bullpen horses are rested and ready.
