So the Nets have to be the new Jailblazers, no?

That’s gotta be the Hornets after the Bridges & Bouknight incidents.

Trot Nash out there last night to speak for Kyrie, then chitcan the guy the next morning.

Such a great, model of an organization they have there in Brooklyn

Watch, they will hire Udoka too.

Nailed it. Wasn’t that much of a stretch.

Seconding the Hornets as the new Jailblazers.

Who are the Nets? The new Sixers or the new Kings? Or maybe the new Knicks?

Steve Nash deserved better. Dude was a HOF'er and they treated him like street trash.

They had to know when they hired him there was going to be an adjustment since he didn't have much HC experience. Not expecting Udoka to do much better their problem extended well beyond coaching it's mainly effort Irving and Durant don't want to play defense and Simmons doesn't even want to play.

Steve Trash doesn't deserve any better, he was an overrated fake MVP 14PPG zero defense guy.

I mean, at the begining they surrounded Nash with solid assistents in Udoka and MDA

Issue is, both of them bolted and Nash suddenly had to begin to really coach when he was supossed to learn.

Yeah, he was a bad coach but the team failed him and he was requested by KD himself who then wanted him fired.

The Nets can't even blow it up because all of their top guys are viewed as negative assets. Teams wouldn't even bite at Durant this summer.

That is my view as well. You can't hire a guy with no HC experience with very little coaching experience at all and not surround him with quality assistants while expecting to win.

But honestly firing Nash is such a coward move. Durant and Irving refusing to play defense and the rest of the team refusing to compete for rebounds are not magically going to be fixed by some new scheme - it is going to change when they decide they are tired of losing and do the things it takes to win in the NBA.

The Nets organization’s **** is already out, I wouldn’t be surprised if they brought in Primo at this point.

The new Nets are the old Nets. They’re basically living a ten-year time loop.

Because this is a players’ league.

No coach can tell Kyrie or KD what to do.

Even Kyrie can’t tell Ben what to do.

Nets expect Nash to be a players’ coach, someone the players would listen to. But I dont think he is. He seems like a nice guy and a weak leader trying to act tough.

This is why you should be careful to pick the player you want to build around or players you add to your locker room.

And I dont know man.. adding Udoka and Primo? These two guys just kicked out for bad behavior and you’re adding them to an already dysfunctional locker?

This also goes to show why its hard to win championships.

You need a lot of talent. A lot of talent that plays the right way. A lot of talent that puts the team over their own branding.

Would you sacrifice the chance to be an MVP over winning a championship?

Is Championship that valuable? I find fans value it more than the players themselves.
