Poetl has said he thinks he deserves more than he can get on an extension. Does anyone doubt Myles feels he deserves as much or more than Poetl?

Honestly if it's just one FRP I'd rather keep Turner and let the situation play out however it plays out

Turner has been an upstanding Pacer his entire career. He's been very willing to teach, and he's conducted himself very professionally, sharing team leader status with newcomer Haliburton

I understand the need to recoup value for Turner, the need to look after the team's interest above all else. But wasn't that how Bird handled the Granger situation?

Unless we're given a good offer, I think the right thing to do is to just let nature take its course. Keep Turner and try to resign him in free agency. If he leaves he leaves

A Poeltl extension would start at $11.2m. There’s a magnitude of difference there.

Any interest in a Turner for Nurkic swap? Could include a pick(s) and/or young player not named Sharpe.

Our team is already young enough, plus we have three first round picks in the next draft. I don't watch much of your team (games start too late, plus just not being interested), but at his size I would guess he is slower than Turner. We don't want slower, we are playing faster.

So, that basically means no interest.

trade machine says Nurkic can't be traded until December or perhaps it's January. I doubt he'd bring you Turner but maybe Theis if you included one of your 6'9" youngsters. I see you have 3 of them and I don't know a thing about any of them not counting that Watford's older brother played at IU, but a young player that size is our missing piece. would you take a second round pick for any of them?

Am only interested in Turner for his defense and shot blocking.

I want to keep him for the same reason but others here may be more willing to move him to avoid the risk of losing him for nothing.

Portland's #1 in 23 is owed to the Bulls lottery protected. They'd have to trade 2025. I do really like Josh Hart but I'm not sure there is a deal here.

I think we're gonna give Turner another 20 games or so to see how he is doing, he was slowed a bit early because of the fluke injury of stepping on a ball boy's foot. If I needed a center and Nurkic was available he's not a bad option for what he's getting paid.
