Need to win this game. If Reggie is stinking it up , Tyronne Lue should bring in Amir Coffee to replace his minutes.

Re: GAME #8: CLIPPERS @ ROCKETS—WEDNESDAY 11/3 5PM
While some of the problems experienced since the beginning of the season are related to our players who are not ready for the season and the mixed rotation, it should be noted that the opposing defenses defend us differently than previous years.
Our shooting ability is obvious and well-known, but our pressure on the basket is quite mediocre. Kawhi and PG, pretty much the duo are as productive as they are healthy. In the scenario where Kawhi is not present, our opponents defend our players more closely than they should. If you can beat your man, it is an advantage, but the opponent knows that we are lacking a fast and physical player who will go to the basket consistently throughout the game.
Our rate of three-pointers has decreased compared to last year due to this tight coverages around the perimeters, which also negatively affects three-pointers since the defenders are not giving any breathing room is the strategy. The lack of a sharp penetrator to punish this tight coverages leads to inefficient passing around three point line and poor separations, thus increases our turnover rate. I can say that this is the summary of many offensive problems we experienced in the early season.
We need Wall in the starting lineup playing around 30+ minutes per game to provide solid rim pressure, ASAP. Since Zubac is the anchor in defense, we need every floor spacer to fill rest of the holes. Wall-Kennard-Pg13-Morris-Zubac for starting lineup, and Coffey-Powell-Mann-Batum-Roco from bench would be my preferred rotations right now. I would sit Reggie as long as Kawhi out.

while true to a degree, many of the 3s they have been missing have been wide open- so, they are often getting good shots, but just not dropping thus far

Re: GAME #8: CLIPPERS @ ROCKETS—WEDNESDAY 11/3 5PM
reggie looking really engaged on defense to start, and playing within himself on offense - great to see
zubac looking like a defensive force. remember when the lakers gave him up for nothing? remember when doc kept playing harrell over him when it made no sense? or when even some of our own posters kept finding ways to diminish him?
he's sure come a long way

i mean i know they're the rockets but the defense is officially doing what they're supposed to be doing, and that hasn't always been the case this season

Get Reggie out of the rotation. Play Moussa or get a backup center. Lue and Frank need to do their jobs. Enough is enough.
I didn't even get excited at the big early lead because I knew what was coming.

I think we need a second center in the rotation. The guy on the Rockets is killing us on offensive rebounds

Has that type of feel... hoping Lue decides to experiment with Moses.
