Moses looks good so far, hope he can keep it up. Not giving him a shot until now (and banishing Moussa to the D-League, for that matter) is coaching malpractice, no other way to describe it.

Did we sign Moses Brown or Moses Malone? This is nuts.

Sengun a little monster but his flopping behind fouled out. Rockets stuck now.

Big W and much needed. Another underrated early season fighter in the Spurs next. Take that one and we can get on track again.

What a win, feels great to beat a team that has a vile individual back to back.

for those who didn't see the game, what i saw in this game was PROGRESS

slowly, but surely, the defensive identity is coming together. kinda the whole point of having a bunch of defensive wings is that they're all gonna pitch in somehow, and some way - and i'm seeing that possession to possession now in a way we weren't seeing even as of last week. obviously still a ways to go to be a monstrous defensive team but any concerns i had on that end have been allayed.

powell looks back-ish - like, sure he had a bad start but that'll happen. and all through it, he maintained his confidence in putting the shots up even if they weren't going down. he had a beautiful layup earlier in the game that made me feel like "ok, he's back." once his 3-ball starts going in, the backup unit is going to start cranking out some big leads. i understand the doubt regarding him but... actually no that's a god damn lie. unless something is out of this world wrong (player is demonstrably unhappy like westbrook, player is looking like he's 10 years older than he really is like AD, or player has brain damage like kyrie), then we'd be better off giving them the benefit of the doubt to normalize. slow starts happen (i remember jj redick missing almost every open 3 he took for the first few weeks of the season), and we shouldn't dumpster our players because of it. like christ, i can't even believe we have to talk about this.

moses brown - i guess he's a player now? i just hope he keeps it up. and gains some weight. and does his leg days. none of us should expect him to have this kind of impact every night, because that's why he's a reserve and barely made it onto an NBA roster. but there's something there we can work with and now that he's had this game, i would expect lue to find ways to work him in.

PG played as expected, which tells us we'll be in ok shape going forward. those one-off games of him being sick or whatever really mess him up, but if he's his usual self he'll carry us most of the season like he did last season (at least when he was healthy lol).

reggie was pretty solid to start, then he did a buncha reggie things later on. it feels criminal that he got 33 minutes while kennard/powell got 24 and wall got even less, but maybe that's just a minutes thing for wall. i fully trust lue to overplay reggie all season long and i still see that as a major problem, so i am really hoping that wall/powell get so good that they will naturally overtake reggie. and obviously luke getting only 24m is crap.

all in all, things are turning around. we'll be ok

Solid game overall. That Rockets team is feisty. Sengun is a really crafty player and an all star flopper too.

Has that type of feel... hoping Lue decides to experiment with Moses.

Great call! Moses 12 minutes 13/7 plus+6

Reggie plus+11
J-Wall minus-3
Powell minus-8 but Ty still giving him minutes [24!]

Zu struggled but Senior [21/10, plus+15] is quietly putting together his best season as a Clipper
