Or it could just be Morey’s “microball” style, which i was not a fan of and i’ve mentioned it as soon as we hired him.
My philosophy is you need to be able to play at different sizes, while i find us to be heavy on playing small this season, its very similar to the final years of Harden with Rox
I want us to continue running our starters
I want us to pair biid-reed
I want us to have Harrell at 5
I want us to play our starters without Biid and with Melton
All at the right time depending on the situation
I agree that's it's likely Glenn committed to some sort of PT agreement for Harrell and House.
Tucker, OTOH, is 37 and has been played as a wing and a small ball C. You HAVE to have had the conversation with him about limiting his minutes so he is good to go come April.
Tucker and Harris need to be split unless Jo is sitting. And even then, small doses.
Tucker and Harris at the 4&5 are OK, in some match-ups and ALWAYS with an deflector (Thybulle, Reed or Melton). This explains why our starter for this game played well and how we also played well with Tobi-Maxey-Harden+Thybulle+Reed to end the 2nd quarter.
Switch defense needs to have deflection guys.
Look at the Celtics or Warriors or even the small ball Rox. You can’t just switch on offense without trying to generate deflections.
