Lol, I don't think you're reading this graphic right. He gets doubled but is bad at playing out of them? His two teammates are two of the more doubled players in the league (thus leaving possessions for Maxey, which is the point you're arguing against)? What's your actual angle?
That he’s getting doubled a lot for a guy who’s just feeding off his teammates from being doubled
I’d imagine Jojo getting doubled. Kick out to Harden, doubled again. Then when they pass it to Maxey, the 6th guy from the opponents bench would get into the court to defend Maxey
Which still doesn't make sense given there are 36 other possessions in a game where those guys are drawing the attention. It was just a really poor graphic to use given it undermines your own argument. He literally stands out in that graphic in a negative way. Most help, a lower volume, and a lower efficiency. Evidence of him being doubled is a small portion of what's at play there.
Maxey had a STARK increase in efficiency last season when Harden arrived and we're looking at 51/47/74 splits after 9 games? That doesn't follow a rational train of thought when it comes to conclusive evidence.
