I usually admire people who don't "follow the crowd", especially in today's toxic environment of cult-like observance to leaders.

But Kyrie seems to be a contrarian not based on any ethical standard, but just to make everyone think he's different. He can't even verbalize what the principle is that he's standing up for.

I am curious why anti-semitic propaganda is attractive to him or why anti-vaxxer stuff is so important to him. When pressed, he just reverts back to "I am independent thinker". Reminds me a little of Aaron Rogers.

Good time to get back to basketball. Plenty of places to discuss Kyrie and/or Primo. Here are 2

That first step would be a doozy since he believes the world is flat.

It would be weird for them to call PF a tendon strain, but that's them likely being evasive. Generally PF in athletes is a traumatic injury with better recovery than an old person overload PF.
I'm wondering if it's a peroneal tendinopathy/strain? Though I think you guys call that muscle fibularis (probably due to freedom unit conversions).
In any case there's a good chance he will be in a boot next game and a month is likely conservative. Bad news for the 33 year old who suddenly decided to care about conditioning.

It's function is actually tendon-like even though it doesn't follow the typical anatomical structural definition of tendon. So by trying to be vague, it ironically could be considered a tendon injury.

People will be pedantic about it not being a tendon, but a lot of the time the term 'Plantar Fasciopathy' will be used on PF injury, the same terminology as in 'Tendinopathy'. I treat them the same way.

NBA seems to be giving out LP games like candy. I think a lot of it is to get ratings as high as possible during negotiations.

Its kind of weird since now would be a horrible time to sign him but if you are trying to sign him you want to start the clock. A team should do it as soon as Kyrie does something stupid of Ime gets officially hired.

It really is crazy just how much Harden has broken down since leaving Houston. He missed 29 games total in a little over 8 seasons in Houston and missed just 6 games in his 3 years in OKC and all 6 of those were in his rookie season and so their may have been some DNP-CD's at the very beginning of his career. He missed 28 games his first year in Brooklyn (only counting regular season games) and another 17 last season and is going to miss around 15 with just this injury and so after missing just 35 in his first 11 seasons he's going to miss at least 60 in these last 3.

It’s almost as if playing a game that is highly demanding on the body while actively avoiding conditioning will start to catch up with them in their early 30s…

If I were their GM: Harris and Tucker (after 1/15) for Westbrook, Embiid for a haul that is presumably greater than the Gobert package, and keep Harden because it’s not worth it to tank, he can fit with whoever, and maybe he talks another superstar into joining.

But yeah, build around Maxey and give Thybulle a ton of minutes to see if he can figure out how to be passable on offense. Also give Paul Reed a bunch of burn to see if he is a rotational piece going forward.

Oh and fire Doc and hire literally anyone else.

As a Bucks fan, I hope they keep everything status quo.

Sixers traded their 2023 first and 3 out of the next 5 total (2025 & 2027). They can't really "tear it down".

Doc playing the dude 37 mpg in freaking October probably wasn’t the smartest move either lol.

Harden averaged 37 minutes a game, 76 games a season before he quit Houston. Yea, no real surprise his body is starting to feel it now he's getting older
