would the spurs have immediately cut ties with miles?
would the hornets have done nothing with primo other than keeping him away from the team and a generic tweet saying they are aware and reviewing matter?

Or maybe not, sounds like they might have known of his “issue” for a little while

I saw that. Pretty surprised

Shocked to hear about Primo. That UNCNYC guy outta feel like a real idiot. Glad i'm not him tho, maybe.

I just use his account, speak his words, date his 3/10 rated girls, and once borrowed $3 from him on payday, (promised to pay it back when I get my taxes) but I am glad I am not him tho, maybe.

Warriors fans want to cut Wiseman, he's been worse than Bouknight and Okoro put together. Just tanks the team when he comes into the game.

Yeah. Thank God. And I reeeeeally wanted Wiseman. So glad Melo is the player he is though. Imagine our roster at full health...

Apparently Kuminga has been getting DNP-CDs lately too.

Kai has a better attitude at least. Wiseman has horrible body language.

I mean, it's not really surprising that he's bad. He's barely played any basketball over the past 5 years. But, I guess the Warriors are going to give him a lot of minutes early to see if they can eventually have him be a semi-productive bench rotation piece by the end of the year.

Ultimately, I guess the Warriors need to decide just how bad they want to try to win another championship with their core and is it worth trying to trade off some of the young players in order to bring in some veteran help.

A package of Poole, Kuminga, Moody, Wiseman, picks... that might be a good starting point for conversations with the Nets about bringing Durant (plus Curry?) back to Golden state.

I probably wouldn't have blamed him at the time for taking Wiseman. Would have been awful looking back on it now though obviously

I thought Wiseman looked like hed improved considerably from his rookie season in the few games I've watched them play this season. He still looked like he had quite a ways to go though and it really sticks out on the Warriors because they are trying to play championship level basketball and the rest of their bench is also bad.

I watched Caleb Martin starting for the Heat and wonder why the Hornets just let him go? It's not like there is a surfeit of three and D players in the NBA. It's true, the twins were not very good their rookie year. They were playable the second year, then Caleb was just waived, let go for nothing. The third year they both started to really contribute, and now Caleb has signed a three-year deal worth over $20 million.

I have trouble understanding why the front office (Mr. Kupchak) and the coaches have so little patience sometimes.

had to make room for that stellar 2021 incoming draft class bouk, kai, thor and lewis) + our prize free agents oubre, ish + leftovers from 2020 vernon, nick + the next euro sensation kulbolka. that's 10 roster spots between hornets/swarm. i would rather have caleb over all of them right now except maybe nick.

Caleb was terrible and probably should've been waived before he actually was. Cody didn't look the part either but at least had some defensive skills to buy him an extra year in the league. They both made jumps last year. Miami does what they did with Caleb, with worse talents. They're amazing at talent development.

His first year, Caleb shot 54.1% from three and hit 81% of his free throws. He really only was given a chance to play late in the season, starting February 8. The second year, those numbers plummeted. You have to expect some inconsistency with a young player, especially when given inconsistent minutes. In his case, he played pretty well early in the season, given steady minutes, until he went out with Covid-19 protocols in February 2021.

Because the team is already full of young mediocre wings who need minutes to sus out whether they're worth retaining.

I'd rather continue to roll the dice than commit long term to guys who don't move the needle. Keeping one of them makes sense. Two, not so much.
