Even if he apologized, he will not change his beliefs, and he will be hurt by the fact that he was bullied. I doubt that this has been his last word on this matter.

Poor Kyrie, he was asked to describe what part of the movie he promoted he believes in.

The guy who thinks he's a guide and "the voice of the voiceless" was bullied because of a demand to describe what he was doing when sharing a thinking piece.

well, KD just poured gasoline on the fire this morning. He told Friedel that the Nets should have kept quiet and focused on basketball.

He's an enabler.

People are misinterpreting that.

I felt like he was telling Kyrie to STFU in a nice way.

I took it as a slight towards the team. He cleaned up what he said though so i guess we can move on

That's a nice little PR apology that someone else wrote for him,
but now I want to see him apologise in his next media session and to Adam Silver in the upcoming meeting.

Let him say the right words for real this time.

Let him feel, face to face, what it's like to have done something idiotic and hurtful towards others, and then to apologise directly.

My thoughts exactly, those words aren't of his, definitely someone wrote that for him. Based on how he speaks and previously tweets etc... yea definitely someone else behind that post(perhaps with his approval).

With that said, its finally done, but unfortunate delays on his end will have this continue. Hopefully we all can be done with this in a few days and be rid of this crap.

If I were the organization, I may seriously tempt to offer any and all reporters a hefty sum to please do not ask Kyrie anymore about this? I can see Kyrie undoing it all over again lol...

The NBA has to spin the wheel so another team has it's turn with some controversy. Maybe they can get a video of Steph leaving a strip joint drunk saying "I made it rain in there like I make it rain on the court!""
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way. (Marlo)

So, this thing?

Read on Twitter

Durant sounds whiny and clueless, like he wants it all to magically go away.

Zero leadership from someone with leadership powers from day one.

Durant lives in an insulated bubble. He really thought that if the team kept quiet (which i think they did) that this was going to blow over.

The body language from Marks in the interview says it all, they are not invested in this KD/Kai experiment anymore and KD's body language is also a give away and his remarks he has no faith in the organization. It's fair to say both are goners by February if not earlier; Marks has positioned the team for the 24/25 FA class. My hope is they trade KD for a lot of picks and swaps so that we can at least build home grown talent going forward.

KD is such a tool.

You have orgs like SA and BOS which likely bent their internal rules *hard* in order to not create a fuss with Primo and Udoka, before eventually realising what a disaster that was shaping up to be.

By contrast, how sheltered do you have to be not to realise that Kyrie has been putting his madness front and center publicly for years now? (and I specifically mean his chronic anti-semitism, not any of his other BS behavior & actions)

The sad thing here is that Kyrie actually seems like a completely harmless guy in person. Friendly and likeable, even. Not hurting of a fly. But yes, also a spectacular idiot who free-thinks his way in to enabling racism.

Durant is an idiot.

He could have easily just said Kyrie was wrong and should have apologized. He know has to face the consequences and win our trust back.

Instead he blames the Nets for suspending him. Are you kidding me?

Guy is CLUELESS about Kyrie. Lets him do/act however he wants. Hes lost his mind.

It would be hilarious if the Nets buy out Kyrie and he gets picked up by one of the 14 Jewish owners on the cheap. I could totally see Cuban doing that.

Marks basically saying Kyrie has to meet with Jewish leaders and go to diversity counseling if he wants to come back to the Nets.

Hes not doing all that lol. Kyrie is probably done with the Nets.

Maybe an off chance he goes to the Lakers

At this point, trade him to the Lakers for Westbrook and the two picks. I really want the Nets to revisit the KD/Ingram scenario; Ingram and two firsts for KD I think is a fair trade and it gets NOP over the hump. KD is a better version of BI. The drama of all of this is just demoralizing and the life has been sucked out of the team.

I would get rid of Kyrie so quickly. He has a large following on social media that all they do is spread hatred all day. Im seeing a lot of Identity extremism coming out of Kyries followers. You have guys like Tariq Nasheed a huge identity extremist supporting Kyrie. David Duke might be his next supporter.

At this point, do you even want him back? It would be nice for him to actually have a dialogue with the people he put a target on, but to me all of this is a waste of time. What he did was vile, what he did yesterday afternoon was vile. He should be done. He's had enough chances. He is who he is.

Look at what he's done. He's destroyed us.

Yep. His supporters bombard every tweet about him from reporters and spew hate/insult Jews.

Tariq Nasheed is a grifter that has spewed hate towards not only Jewish ppl but also Black immigrants. It doesn't surprise me that he would support Kyrie.

Durant needs to go.

Maybe after the Nets get blown out tonight by the Wizards, people will stop being in denial and will realize that this is over.
