It was set up that way, but still a crap of an execution.

I Defend Spo a lot on here from nonsense accusations and flaming but I’m sorry… What the **** was that? A Herro iso? I like the trust he showed in him, but no interference at all? Nothing planned to throw them off??

We had ALOT of time to run a real play.

God forbid we run a Herro Bam pick n roll which is one of the most efficient plays in the league right now

Gotta be the only team in the league that has our center guard their PG while our PG guards their center. That’s terrible.

Herro made a miraculous shot the other night but Spo was fooling himself if he thought lightning would strike twice

There was way too much time left to settle for that look. But whatever.

Even just a Herro drive off of that would have made all of the difference. Move the defense.

And if the Pacers were terrified to come off of our shooters, which they likely would be since that would give up the win, you either have a very makeable inside shot for a Herro or a lob for Bam that could have tied.

Again, like the confidence he showed in Herro, but the execution and plan were poor.

Spos schemes are cooked unless we make trades. Buddy and Turner just killed their auditions. Now get it done Pat

3 players, including Bam, jumped out on the guard at the top of the key on this play. For what reason 3 players ran at one, I have no idea. But the ensuing scramble resulted in this mismatch.

The play was designed for Herro to take the win. He leaned though, line was good but was short. Had he gone str8 up it prob drops.

My issue is todays 3pt heave culture. Back in the day you draw up a play to get it in the paint & go for the tie.....the 3 is when all else fails.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

This exact mismatch happens all the time. Whether it’s Lowry Gabe Herro Martin or whoever down there. It’s just not a fair matchup and has killed is countless times all year

A screen needed to be involved on the last play at minimum. Whether we shot the 3 or not. There was literally no separation, it was like that with the Kings too but we were lucky to get away with a travel and Herro hit the very tough shot. It’s just not good offense.

Like it showed Lowry and Spo talking non stop in the huddle and that was the result? I just don’t understand lol

That's the positive i took from it.Happy to see Spo put in in Herro's hands. It was Herro's opportunity to prove himself again. He has the nuts to go for it. The kid can only improve as a result.

We had $45M worth of players tonight who’s main reason for being paid is to help the offense go 1-16 from the field in a game we lost by 2…..

In a game I thought we had zero chance of winning we came close. Not upset one bit about Herro’s shot. Butler misses those all the time. We have the dumbest small ball rotations in the league. Setting back basketball decades
