Hes not doing all that lol. Kyrie is probably done with the Nets.

Maybe an off chance he goes to the Lakers

At this point, trade him to the Lakers for Westbrook and the two picks.I really want the Nets to revisit the KD/Ingram scenario; Ingram and two firsts for KD I think is a fair trade and it gets NOP over the hump. KD is a better version of BI. The drama of all of this is just demoralizing and the life has been sucked out of the team.

No way the Lakers are still willing to give up the two picks for Kyrie.

Kyrie is an ass hole for this.

It's not #1 because of Kyrie sharing it. It's #1 because it's all the media has been talking about for a week. He's an @ss for the initial share, but if not for the extended reaction it would not have been noticed by 95% of the people that drove it to #1.

This is the first game I've watched since Irving's BS started.

The Nets look way better without him. Not a coincidence

The my turn your turn offense has runs its course. We need Simmons to really get healthy and step up. Also, Curry and Warren will be needed. I love systematic team ball. Vaughn is doing OK

Amazing things happen when ball dont stick in one players hand. All of these guys chipped in here and there and KD had legit tripdub.

Drew Gooden spitting blood here. Dude said how in the ef Claxton made 9 dunks without getting fouled  they playing soft

Pelicans have no incentive at all to do this.

BI/Zion/CJ is a Championship core and KD is old.

Anyway, I was at the game tonight.

The team looked more prepared on defense than I have seen in a long time.

I think credit has to go to Vaughn. I'm not saying hes a great coach. But its obvious ANYONE is 10x better than Nash.

Kyrie not being there may have helped chemistry wise. But KD can't keep carrying this load. Nor will he want to.

I really do believe coaching was the main issue for our poor start. If not for Kyrie's idiocy we had a legit chance once Udoka was hired.

But now who knows? Solid chance Kyrie never comes back.

Yea it's better to get rid of Kyrie even tho he barely has any trade value. This has always been a problem with Kyrie, amazing player but the ball just doesn't flow well with him, and he doesn't play with enough energy on defense. And we don't even have to speak about the off court drama. Just get whatever you can in a trade for him, a PG that can shoot and compete on defense. I have no idea who would want to trade for him except Lakers.

"This is amid, I think both Nets' management and the league office pushing Joe Tsai to be more punitive," said Adrian Wojnarowski. "A suspension, a punishment. As the days wore on and Kyrie Irving had a chance on Saturday night and then again yesterday publicly with the media to disavow and condemn the contents of that movie, to say that he was not antisemitic. Those two public appearances and then a joint statement with the Nets a couple of days ago that still fell short. I think finally Joe Tsai realized even after Adam Silver didn't want to wait for Joe Tsai anymore to figure this out with Kyrie Irving... he put his own statement out and wasn't going to just allow the Nets to handle this, let Joe Tsai handle it.

"You come to a situation yesterday where the Nets suspended Kyrie Irving for at least five games and come out with a strongly worded statement that certainly many would have liked to have seen days ago."

People like to kill Marks, but the culture he built ended with Tsai taking over. Tsai has routinely undercut him, the most glaring of which occurred with Tsai directly engaging with the players about Kenny Atkinson. If Woj is right, this reads as if Marks wanted to come down hard and swiftly on Kyrie, but Tsai wouldn't approve that.

Oh please.

The culture ended because of Kyrie and KD. Two divas who don't have any interest in building a winning culture.

Tsai wanted to find a resolution with Kyrie rather than just suspending him. That would have made the most sense.

Coming down on Kyrie does nothing at this point.

Marks should have never HIRED NASH. That was the unforgivable sin that empowered them and created this mess.

Do you think if he hired Udoka or Tye Lue any of this happens????

No shot.

I think it says a lot about what kind of damage was done this week.

I only watched because Kyrie wasn't playing. It felt good for once to see these guys play without everyone standing around watching him dribble the air out of the ball and play sh*t defense. The energy was high.

When he comes back I'm not watching because it's clear from tonight that he was ruining everything. Bring Ime in sure, but what happens when the contrarian starts to run his own plays and ignoring what Ime is calling?

One game is a very small sample size but a lot of positives tonight for sure. KD operated in the post which finally was an adjustment from the blitzing doubles Nash couldn’t adjust to, also this game perhaps showed if Kyrie does come back, he has to say bye bye to one on one basketball and the offense has to run through KD and he can’t try and replicate Kevin’s one on one style. Kyrie cost us the Bulls game. Not sure why Vaughn even brought him back in when he saw the team playing better without him. I hope we build momentum on this damn game. I still feel if we can trade Simmons and Kyrie, we need a Pau Gasol type player here to get this team over the hump. KD/shooters works but we need that highly glorified role player, who will it be? Simmons is trash and Kyrie tries to mimic KD’s game too much which hinders the team.
