This has always been a problem with Kyrie, amazing player but the ball just doesn't flow well with him, and he doesn't play with enough energy on defense. And we don't even have to speak about the off court drama. Just get whatever you can in a trade for him, a PG that can shoot and compete on defense. I have no idea who would want to trade for him except Lakers.
NBAPA and Silver came out and spoke on Kyrie situation. Marks said Kyrie won't be allowed till he apologizes and followed through several other team demands. Knowing Kyrie's narcissistic nature, not sure how long that might take.
Good news is that KD looking engaged and not sulking out there. He was killing entire enthusiasm and energy. This Nash departure send a message to entire team.
We need Good coach desperately. Not playing Cam and Sumner was/is huge mistake. They giving us boost while on the court and teams can't really focus on KD like that. Wiz game wasn't fluke, we've seen same happened during Craptors games with Sumner. Dude gave us life till Nash buried him on the bench after 3-5 min, he ain't played after at all. Nic is the biggest beneficiary who racking havoc, Drew Gooden kept saying it throughout the game.
We not better team without Kyrie whether agree or not. However as most pointed out, he stops flow on the offense with ball hogging. This allows teams set their D and focing us to run offense through Kyrie and KD iso plays. Even if both will drop 50, it won't be enough to win. Being 1-5 proved it, we need ball movement like last night in order to compete. Let's see what Kokoskov will drow up again, JV perfectly executed game plan last night with timely substitutions.
