Hornets are openly tanking at this point.

Nets need to take advantage.

If we play defense and team bball on offense this another 20+ win coming. Get Udoka in here soon, think we can become a top defense soon we have the pieces. If kai's not back we still like our chances just have to build this team like 2011 Dirks mavs team.

This should be another win considering who's out for the Hornets. Honestly I'm kind of interested in seeing how things go under Vaughn. You could say I'm a prisoner of the moment, and that's fine because I am lol.

I would never in my wildest imagination have expected the team to blowout an opponent like we did yesterday, but I liked it. Vaughn changed up the rotation with good results, so maybe he's actually trying to put his fingerprint on this team. Now that the young guys are getting more time under him I could see him doing what he did in the bubble and getting the most out of the youth on this team.

And if we can get on the right track and keep KD happy that's really all that would matter in the short term.

I have a good feeling going into tonights game that we will carry last nights momentum and win convincingly.

A prime example of addition by subtraction.

Entire team stepped up last game, need to carry this momentum and build from it. Evaluating talent and coaching is important even without Ben and Kyrie.

Players to watch:
1. Cam and Sumner -> both need to create offense and put pressure on their D.
2. Nic -> quietly having impressive start. Him understanding rotations will be key to us.

We not beating Bucks or Saltics without healthy and committed Ben/Kyrie.

Agreed.

I'm honestly way higher on Ben than most.

I think hes had a really rough start. But the idea that such a thing is unprecedented after a long layoff is pretty dumb.

Give him 20-30 games and there is definitely a solid chance he goes back to prime Ben Simmons. A terror on defense and a visionary on offense.

With Embiid the Sixers were a legit contender in the East. With KD we could also be good. WITH the right coach. And with Curry/Harris/Warren all back in form.

As far as Kyrie, I'm basically done giving him any shot. Basketball wise he was incredible the first 5-6 games. But hes not ruined our chemistry AGAIN.

Is there a world where we a committed Kyrie, who stops all the antics, and is amazing on offense?

Very unlikely. I wouldn't bet on it at all.

I'm loving this version of Cam. None of the tunnel vision that we'd seen last season and in the Summer League.

I actually enjoy watching the Nets again second game in a row , Looks like Kyrie and Trash was (is ) big part of our problems
( Yuta ,Sumner, and Cam played more minutes in this two games than in previous six ) Yeah Nash was Trash , Vaughn is better

You need to make a peace with it man. If we ain't having Kyrie, we ain't having KD. Each passing day that Kyrie is not with a team hurts us a lot.

Than again, what's new, it's Kyrie we talking about.

I like the effort but this 3 point disparity is horrific.

Joe Harris is AWFUL.

And Rozier and Oubre are just making stupid contested 3s. Hopefully it events out.

We can't keep missing wide open 3s.

IDK. At some point KD has to wake up and say enough is enough. He has his own brand to protect and I think that he realizes that is he sticks with Kyrie he's going to ruin it. Also Nash is now gone, so whether Vaughn stays or we hire someone else there will be at least some improvement in the team.

We're settling a lot right now. And Joe is giving us nothing at all. Vaughn might want to bring him off the bench after this game, give him more time to find himself.

Beside our usual friend Kelly none of them doing crap. Need to figure out some stops.

This cold shooting killed us. Missed wide open jumpers.
