GT #11: Bullets @ Hornets 7 PM (NBCSW/980 AM)

Post#1 » by FAH1223 » Mon Nov 7, 2022 7:04 am

YOUR Washington Bullets are 4-6!

Another road loss came at the hands of the Memphis Grizzlies. Despite a 17-0 run to climb back in the game and even take the lead, Wes Unseld Jr. inserted his starters back in who gave up bucket after bucket in the final minutes. Porzingis had his worst game as a Bullet and Kuzma's shot selection was terrible. On the bright side, Jordan Goodwin provided real point of attack defense and frustrated Ja Morant to the point he went to the locker room and came back after a quarter.

On Monday night, the ENTIRE NBA is playing games. The league has scheduled no games on Election Day. So, get out there folks and head to the polls.

Regarding this game, the Hornets remain without LaMelo Ball. Dennis Smith Jr. has been a God send for Charlotte. Rozier is a Bullets killer and I expect him to have a huge night. Also, given how the defense has been, do not be surprised if the Hornets win this going away. It's a terrible matchup for the boys from DC.

Must lose game. We are competing with the Hornets for draft positioning.

We one game ahead of the Hornets in the standings. They'll eventually get LaMelo so a loss here strengthens the bid for 3rd worst in the East (until Indy trades Turner & Hield).

Mathurin might have something to say about that. He's been that good. Every time I watch him, I'm thinking he should have been a top 3 pick. He passes the eye test easily.

Pretty sure I don’t care. This may be the earliest in a season I’ve gotten to this inevitable point.

Rui looks very fluid & comfortable on the floor lately. Hoping his bbiq catches up to his undeniable physical advantages.

I'm starting to think Jordan Goodwin needs his own thread! I'll start it....

for a team up 30-20 there's some terrible PG play going on on this team

This team is depressing to watch.

Charlotte is getting to the rim every time.

I’m liking Porzingis less and less. Soft, unathletic player who settles for jumpers and does not finish well in traffic.

KP couldn't make up his mind whether to shoot the bank shot or just the "usual" 10'-er. Been there, done that. (Bank shot ftw.)

You didn't read the label before buying. The jumpers and not-banging down low are a feature not a bug.

I guess all the board residents are still working in DC. Right?

Hornets are 0-9 on 3 and 2-4 on FTs and still winning despite TOs and Rebs being essentially equal. So I guess they're scoring better in the paint?

I mean... Defensive collapse after defensive collapse... Wizards' paint is wide open, they can't guard anyone under the rim.

Kispert perfect from the field, 10 minutes. Barton bricking everything in sight (1-7), 16 minutes. I'm DONE with WUJ. Obviously Quinn Snyder would want nothing to do with this loser franchise, but I'd hire him if I could.

Not quite sure what KP did to deserve FTs there, but I guess the Wiz will take them.

This will be a great loss to really remove any confidence and get this tank rolling.
