This feels bad. I hope things turn out well for the young man.

Apparently Josh Primo was exposing himself to women.

I think the Spurs saw the least bad option as getting away from the situation as quickly and clearly as possible. There also is protecting their other employees, which is probably more valuable in the long run from a morale and possibly even financial perspective(minimizing lawsuits). Also the Spurs seem to be currently below the salary floor, so they will have to spend the money this year anyway.

If the incidents stopped at incident exposure, it might not be a significant criminal issue, but ugly civil issues that drag on for months/years. The "payoff" of the team being in the middle of this is best case a second round pick and saving a little money.

Another factor in giving Primo the money, it means his victims can sue him and win.

What's crazy to me is, he's still just 19 years old. Went to one of the most prestigious high schools in the US, went to Alabama.. you can imagine a well-crafted journey to the pros. Being Gen-Z, these kids know they can't get away with this shyt more than any other.

So, I'm sure there's got to be something there regarding trauma. Which doesn't excuse this behavior of course but its hard to believe someone his age, who only just got drafted, just randomly couldn't control himself and started exposing himself to a bunch of women without some sort of history there.

Primo had a weird kink, way to burn down your NBA career right at the start

Look what coach is available now…
And does this make KD available too? Not sure if he’s washed up now though.

21st pick Christian Braun, this draft is reminding me of the 2011 draft, lots of talent up and down the board.

At least he's not scared on the court like Davis is.

I find this story sad and admire the Spurs for their response. What I find inexplicable is
the motivation of a young male to expose himself as if the woman in question was going
to respond by initiating sex. I guess the futility of this is why it is considered a mental illness.
We know it's not completely rare for men to do this.
A lot of what we call 'thought' is just mental activity

Hoping Bol Bol stays healthy. He's showing the wow factor some thought he had.

I wanted him in that draft, and I was PISSED they took that scrub (don't remember his name, is he even in the league?) over him.

Fire Sheppard NOW! He doesn't know wtf he's doing.

I'm interested in what the jazz are gonna do. Obviously the tank for VW was the goal but they are a pretty solid team. If they trade any obvious pieces away. Will the league take this chance to make an example of them and use their new anti tank measures

Do they trade for Anthony Davis and shut him down for the year?
