Kyrie and seth for Westbrook and Christie... straight up at this point... although I'm still down to throw a first round pick (top 10 protected) if they take nunn, as well

down to welcome Westbrook off bench if he gets bought out...

Hell no.

Yeah we dodged a bullet with the kyrie trade talks a few months ago. Im lovin westbrook coming off the bench.
One of the keys to the 2009 and 2010 championships was Odom being that engine off the bench and how he embraced it even though he was a starter. I hope Russel can do the same here

Was watching the Celtics game. Brogdan is good. Cs gave up a FRP and then a bunch of nothing. Wish the Lakers could make a trade like that

I was upset when that happened. brogdan, Turner and heild... for Westbrook, nunn, tht and picks... should have happened!

Kyrie needs to happen now for us... that's championship

who cares for outside noise... he knows how to play with LeBron. freaking rodman made way more noise

I would love an AD trade for jaylen, Williams, and brogdon, unlikely tho

primary focus should be Kyrie and seth for Westbrook and Christie.. idc if one pick goes. he will come with a chip on his shoulder. and we can extend him for cheap now lol

I don't mind getting Kyrie ... I just don't want Lakers to give him a max contract or some stupid contract

2 years at best with 2nd year being team option, I've said this b4 and I'll say it again - You don't want Kyrie out side of Bron and since next year probably Bron's last year with Lakers you don't want to give Kyrie anything more than 2 years tops :)

Kyrie has proven himself to be a total nut job and a cancer on every team he’s been on.
He’s a narcissist that completely lacks self awareness on top of that.

I don’t care how desperate we are. I don’t want him on this team. He’s not going to have that much of an impact. He’s not going to make us contenders .
Even if he did, I still would not want him on the P&G.

It isn't only noise any more. Its political issues and personal value that may impact others view on the Lakers as an organisation. You sign him and play him, you support his view ? Its politcal issues. And his off court issues have already affected his on court performance. He disappeared due to religious reason, he is suspended due to his words etc. How can the team run smoothly and build chemistry with one of his main player getting in and out of the line up. Rodman only had a messy personal life, thats what everyone knows from day one. His on court performance was not affected by one bit. The Bulls were filled with mostly veteran players. They were experienced enough to deal with Rodman. Nothing to compare to irving's situation.

What do you all think about Miles Bridges and Primo ?

I love the P & G.
I always will.

That second half play against the Cav's was pure trash.
Absolute horrible ball on both ends.

Can't really watch games during the week, by being in different time zone and at work :(

But just by looking at the box score alone

Only lost by 14 points? couldn't have been that bad? Edit: lol thought It was by 4 lol

I'm putting this Loss on Nunn ... He is hot garbage and doesn't provide anything and yet everyone was hyped for him to come back
0-5 FG 0-4 3pt WTF In 18 min

Nunn was a non-factor but not the reason they lost.
CLE just did not whatever they wanted in the second half.
They had multiple scoring runs (I remember 11-0 and 7-0) in the third .
Our defense was terrible and offense discombobulated.
AD got his forth foul in the third and became a non-factor after that.
LBJ seems out of sorts .
No one else could hit shots consistently .

I’m an optimist in general but see nothing in this team that gives me hope or confidence that they will turn it around .

Primo not good enough for his issues. Bridges / Irving sure. If they going to play in the lg for somebody why not Lakers.

Irving in and out the lineup a better ceiling than what we have.

I would rather sacrifice a future FRP, (rather than part with Ayo, he is going to be good, real good) most likely our 2023 Portland which will convey.

Simons/Nurkic/Portland 2024 FRP/Portland 2026 FRP for AD? We get a good young guard and a decent big, plus a couple of FRPs that could end up being good given Lillard's age and AD's health. Now we've got LeBron, the $30+ million in cap space next offseason and 5 tradable firsts on draft night, we can try to make a play for another disgruntled star or go into rebuild with LeBron probably leaving after 2023. I don't think this team is going anywhere barring something completely out of the blue, so maybe its time to move on from AD now.

As for Kyrie, I'm certainly less excited to trade for him now but I'd still consider it. As well as Russ has played in his role lately, the upgrade from a LeBron/AD/Russ trio that doesn't fit and needs to be staggered to a LeBron/AD/Kyrie trio that is a hand-in-glove fit offensively is pretty massive.

I think he's available if it gets the Lakers a high spot in the lottery. Otherwise, I think it's just Simmons talking out his ass...
Never have rice at Hanzo's house...
