I think it's obvious this current roster isn't a real contender, so what move would you make if Pat asks for your input?

You know me. I blew this mother up!
Would keep Herro and Bam. Everybody else can go bye bye.
Would aim for picks and young players.
Patrick Williams. James Wiseman.
Aim for picks from teams teetering without clear direction.

He's got the Poison Pill Provision on him but he's eligible to be traded.

IMO we need to be compiling the pieces for our next true contender. If we can do it with out losing Jimmy then we stay more competitive.
I would be aiming for Fox, as soon as he becomes available. We missed the boat on Mitchell, so Fox pretty much had to be the guard in the next big-3.
It’s been good to see Markannen blow up, he was the guy I was hoping we’d draft that year. Very happy with Bam, but Lauri was my pick to put next to Whiteside (gah, Hassan

Option # 5 doesn't really make sense. We are trying to make big moves and offering basically negative players in Lowry and Duncan yet expect a huge return? All of our trade proposals with those two players were rightfully rejected this offseason and adding picks doesn't really move the needle.
If we are serious about making substancial changes it will cost us players we dont want to trade. Those are the consequence of giving Lowry and Duncan their contracts.

The idea is to attach our future picks (2 or 3) and/or desirable contracts (Omer?Gabe?Herro?Strus?Martin) to Duncan and/Or Lowry and see what's the best player we can get.
some combinations of those could bring in some real players

My guess we can make this happen if we add 2 picks, maybe 3. Should we?

Maybe I am not remembering correctly....
It seemed to me, that yurt run last year was super smooth, and the games were under control. Stable...maybe stable was my best memory of it.
Can't make Yurt heathy, but if we can get someone with a similar skill set to anchor the middle it simply can't hurt.

Turner should be the target. No way around it. He’s the perfect fit.

This is what I think about this POLL***
I Think you can completely take out #3
"3)Small trade to plug a hole - get a a decent PF using Max/Gabe/Omer/Jovic"
I just don't see this an avenue for the team at all, it solves nothing for the sake of doing a move.
I do believe once we get to mid season if all things continue as is were headed straight to #2
"2)Nothing, it's a lost season, we're not contending and there's no move worth making"
I think our assets are limited, and there's nothing out there that could put us over the hump in time by this point.
Then there's the Miami Heat management which I think are looking at #1 first while also working on #4
"1)Nothing, we're a contender once we get healthy and we'll look better"
"4) Medium trade - Use Duncan + future pick/s or assets and go after a proven starting level PF like Kuzma/Myles Turner/PJ" Washington/Barnes/other
This is what the team is doing, holding hope that the team can get healthy and cohesive and start winning, their also open to try and pick up a medium trade that could bolster their Frontcourt depth.
The fans of this team are problebly hoping secretly we put this behind us and start fresh looking at #5 & #6
"5) Big move - Use Lowry/Duncan (and for some players include Herro too ) + ALL the picks/assets and go for a player with upside like a Durant/De'aaron Fox/Markkanen/Prozingis/J.Collins/other"
"6) HUGE move - blow it all up including Bam/Jimmy - start over and build a better balanced team, accept our window has closed and aim to contend a few years from now"
Secretly This is were I hope we end up, because I think we hit our ceiling and should look into starting over.

we all knew this.
doesnt surprise us at all.
shouldve pulled the trigger on trades and overpay.

I think we intended to trade Duncan and now we are having second thoughts and its messing up our flexibility. IDK what move we do as long as we improve and also put that player in a good situation. *edit* we need to drop Highsmith, total failure of a decision.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
