The ball handling is a bit more rare, but still I don't see it being at the level of Siakam or Precious even in their collegiate days. I'd look elsewhere. He doesn't project more than a Jalen/Jaden McDaniels type to me, and I'm cringing even making that comparison.

His pull up jump shot is definitely better than Jalen / Jaden McDaniels, that would allow him to create. His ability to pass (vision) is definitely something I put him in the 1st round, and wouldn't be surprised he will be in the lottery.

The first game was in foul trouble, and his 3 point shooting form doesn't look good, but the 2nd game seems to have a better form. Wouldn't be surprised he becomes a much better shooter after this season:

Right now Miller can't defend a chair. He doesn't move laterally very well and his shot is wonky. Hopefully by the end of this season he improves a lot but this draft class has a bunch of beasts in it, he can easily fall to the second round. I also think his true position is a SG, can't make him a big - he doesn't play like one.

Unfortunately I agree with this. Particularly the concerns over his defence. Not sure it's a physical limitation with him (ie slow feet), he just seems to have no clue on that end, and shies away from contact a lot. Hope he goes somewhere with a good development program & patience. Really want to see him succeed, and the pathway is there for him.

This clip mentions his defense on b2b plays. I thought he'd be way further behind seeing how he's only played Canadian HS ball before this year. But he looks like a legit NBA prospect. 6'10ish lefty who doesn't look like a prototypical big man when he's dribbling.

He's not really a big, he can't defend post players - he's not physical - and he's not quick enough to defend stretch 4s. Also this video only showed his good play, he's not a good positional defender. Still, he does have a ton of potential and I think everyone wants him to do well but right now there are better options. He could be a great swing player for us but there are better options - right now.

I agree he's definitely not a big, not sure why they have him there. But he has definitely put on some weight. He's on the perimeter so maybe he can transition to the 3 or 2. He has no core strength tho, that's why he's always floating or scissor kicking on his jumpers.

Still he's intriguing, and a swing for the fences. Maybe he gets a little more polished as the szn continues

Gut feeling is this kid goes much higher than expected. The shooting is special, and is combined with good size, mobility and toughness

I've liked Dick since last year. He could be a long term replacement for Trent Jr. - he's a good shooter, passer, taller and maybe even more athletic.

Keep an eye out for Jaylen Clark. Great defender with rapidly expanding offensive game. He was great last night

Love Whitmore, looks a lot like Jaylen Brown to me (maybe even slightly more athletic which says alot)....but for that reason I haven't ever seen him projected outside of the lottery, so unless Pascal misses much of this season or we have multiple starters out at the same time for decent stretches, I don't see how we'll be able to draft him (unless of course we trade one of our starters for a lottery pick).

Still so early, we'll see how draft mocks shake out. I could see us landing 20-23 this year. Whitmore fits this team like a glove. Athletic freak with a nice handle. Need to replenish on the wing IMO this draft.

I agree with needing a wing, more specifically imo...another scorer & preferably a bigger one to replace GT Jr.

I noticed Arthur Kaluma last year at Creighton and to me he ends up a classic Raptor's forward - stalky, athletic, multi-skilled and disciplined.

-6'7 size and about 220 lbs - NBA level body and athleticism
-10% AST% - good handle with some playmaking ability off the bounce
-2 Blk%; 1 Slt% - okay defensive metrics, but he looks like a 7ft wingspan and great feet and ability to contest under control. Despite inexperience, he looks savvy not to jump at shooters.
-Jab step is his go-to and it is very Jimmy Butler-esque.

He likely is a fringe first or early second because he is older at 21 during draft day and he has had knee surgery in the past. That said, he averaged over 20 PPG for Uganda (playing with Ish Wainwright) in qualifiers last summer and looks like he will be really good next season in college.

We need a shifty SG, or a Tall SG sniper or an athletic SG

Shifty SG: Terquavion smith, Judah Mintz, Marcus Sasser, Amari Bailey
Tall SG sniper: Gradey Dick, Tucker Devries
Athletic SG: Chris Livingston, Sidy Cissiko, Maxwell Lewis, Arthur Kaluma

Just a few realistic options

Terquavion is Jordan Poole to me. He's quite obviously going to be a straight bucket in the NBA. You could say the same about GTJ, but I think Terq has more ability to create for himself. I get the feeling he's a lottery pick though

Sasser is on the short end but I like these selections. Never heard of Tucker Devries, need to do some research. Maxwell Lewis too.
