Right now we'd be picking 4th in the draft.
When I die, have Michael Jordan bury me so he can let me down one last time.

It’s silly to dream about ball and wemby dominating for the next 10 years isn’t it?

Between the injuries, having to watch Plumlee play clutch minutes and knowing we will blow almost every opportunity to close out a winnable game, this is the best combination of circumstances to justify tanking. What a depressing season.

The basketball gods owe us. That would be sweet vindication for the pain endured since the original Hornets left for New Orleans.

I'm too busy dreaming about all the winning culture they're building by not tanking.

What's depressing isn't that we need to tank. What's depressing is everyone knows we won't. The cherry on top is when we end up picking 12th again.

It’s looking like it’ll be 7th or 8th but basically the same thing.

Yeah they really learned a lot and built a mature, team-first winning culture after the Indy play-in blow out and subsequent 43 win season and follow-up play-in blow out.

The amount of leaders and winners (and law abiding citizens) we now have on the roster was worth drafting Bouknight, Kai and Williams instead the opportunity of the likes of Evan Mobley, Scottie Barnes and Banchero.

But hey at least the Batum stretch is off the books after this season and only one more season after this of Gordon Hayward being out 4 times as long as normal with a specific injury type. He slightly tweaked his shoulder recently so he should be back in no more than three months right? Great work Kupcake and MJ! You guys should be in MENSA!

DSJ off to a good start. Some good defense leading to easy layups.
Bouknight with the corner 3..... airball

DSJ still has my heart.

Meanwhile, in 8 minutes, PJ has no shot attempts, no rebounds, one assist, one turnover, and one foul...how???

Terry lets Simons roll the ball over halfcourt before picking it up to allow the 2 for 1 at the end of the quarter. Just low bball IQ players on our team.

There you go PJ. Couple of effective drives: drive and dish to Nick, then a little floater deep in the paint, then a nice drive and foul drawn.

I like how Portland's jersey's are ad-free. Worst decision the NBA's ever made was to sully their jersey's with ads

Terry is just an awful defender. Doesn't even lift his arm to contest holding Simons' arm and we concede consecutive four point plays.

If we can get a first for this guy before the trade deadline we'd be crazy not to.

Wow Bouknight with a steal AND a stepback 3. Is hell freezing over? Now going to the line... Where's the 3 mistakes after a good play?
