Luka has an insane 36 PER this year so far.

Luka looks like he's moved up a notch offensively

So how do you compare them?

It's Doncic. The gap between them as players is made up via rebounding.

I'd take Luka ten times out of ten. When you really need a bucket or someone to take over, it's not real close.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

About "ten times out of ten", "When you really need a bucket or someone to take over, it's not real close". Story about taking over and domination, interesting interview with Larry Nance Jr. The part of it you should listen starts at 19:48 and lasts about 5 minutes. Interesting story. And there were a lot more games like this.

Jokic just seems like more of a guaranteed mismatch to me - not to take anything away from Luka
