Has there been a bigger high end talent disappointment than KAT in recent years? Dude is super talented but has no heart.

I don't think heart is his problem, he cares, just is very soft...like charmin soft. I would say last season was a success for him and the young Wolves, their FO **** up by putting a terrible fit next to KAT. Now they have to trade KAT because the fit is terrible and the team is unhappy. Crazy chain reaction of bad FO decisions

Can anyone make sense of this Utah thing? Are they actually good? Best record in the West right now and they just keep winning games against supposed good teams.

What would a Wolves panic trade look like?

They can’t trade KAT this season and no way they get anything remotely close to what they gave up for Rudy.

Trading Ant seems insane since he’s probably the best long term building block for them — provided he’s not too severely disgruntled already.

Minnesota doesn’t have picks to deal. Maybe Russell’s ending contract and other role players for a swing at someone overpaid who a team wants to get off their books?

Could also see them targeting try hard guys like the ones they sent to Utah (Crowder perhaps but idk about on court fit) if the issue is mostly chemistry.

They have no bad contracts, really good balance in terms of skill sets. They were never going to be as terrible as they were painted as long as they leave the roster as is. Now if they trade for Russle and buy him out things could be very different.

Actually trading for Russell Westbrook or DeAngelo Russell and actually playing them is probably the best tanking strategy.

I think they probably just ride this out. Even if the sabatoge the team it's unlikely they drop to the top 5 worst so not sure it's really worth it just to pick like 6th vs 14th or something.

Kind of a dud for games tonight. Philly/Atlanta is mildly interesting and it's on NBATV. Portland/New Orleans may be good.

Talking to a Utah fan the other day I thought at this point yea lke you said ride it out and keep doing well is the general move. But, with the idea that by doing well it should help trade value on some guys like conley, Clarkson etc. So instead of kinda just giving them away like it seemed two months ago they might actually be able to get something of real value. If so, do it around the deadline. If no one will, then F it, just keep playing and enjoy it
