Vince Carter Joins Bally Sports Florida as a Color Analyst

Former NBA All-Star and Daytona Beach native Vince Carter is joining the Bally Sports Florida, the network home of the Orlando Magic, to broadcast for select Magic games.

Carter will make his debut as an analyst on Bally Sports tonight for the Magic’s home game vs. the Phoenix Suns at Amway Center alongside play-by-play announcer David Steele and color analyst Jeff Turner.

That's a really great addition. He's been solid in all the play by play I've seen him do with ESPN and the Hawks. I love Steele and JT. But, they needed someone new and younger with a fresh perspective.

Last year I saw the "alternative streams" and caught a Atlanta broadcast. I thought he Vince did a good job.

Yeah, this FO has been moving the needle lately, I hope it continues.

I wanted us to give him his last contract so he could retire here. But I will happily let him transition David Steele out of the booth, in a respectful manner, over this year.
