2ND Q: SPURS 54 BUCKS 46

I repeat: a stretch of FIVE CONSECUTIVE TOs. The great stick in our wheel time and again. We seem to string these together like they're good plays. They seem to have a momentum of their own.

But we still defended well with good switching, fighting over screens, grabbing boards.

Though we lead 28-8 in points in the paint, that stretch of TO alone has given them an edge in O boards 8-5, and they've taken advantage with outside shots, making seven 3s to our five.

The second chance points have also resulted in more FT chances for them, where they've also made up points 11-14 to our 5-7.

Keldon isn't having the more efficient game so far, but has made 3-3 from 3, the lone starter to hit a 3, so there's some pressure on the rest of the team to pick up the slack.

Devin is 0-2 form the arc and needs to put it in to help Keldon.

Vets Doug and JRich have made 3s as well. We just need to create more chances for them.

Doug with two tavel calls. That's all I'll say about that.

Bassey has been a FORCE on the boards, leading us with 8, 2 on O, has 3 assists which leads the bench and is tied with Jakob for team high so far, and also tied with Jakob for team high 2 blocks.

We have NINE blocks so far. Excellent defensive effort.

We just need to protect the arc better, watch out for those crosscourt passes to the weakside, and make sure we execute a bti faster.

It's a physical game what with all the man pressure, fighting thorugh screens and trying to lose our man on O. But we've withstood their O well with good communication, rotations, help, and rim protection.

We have to stay hungry and resilient, start the second half strong with a quick start and keep our poise.

The two very things we cannot allow are O boards and 3s.
