The home stand got off to a good and surprising start with a win against the Mavs on Thursday. Kuz has one of the best games of his career and Luka Doncic was held in check for perhaps the best performance by the home team this season.

Tonight, they face the surprise of the NBA. The Jazz are off to a rhythmic 10-3 start. Lauri Markannen looks like one of the league's most improved players and with a mix of veterans and young guys acquired from the Cavs and TWolves, Utah doesn't look like a team in the Victor sweepstakes as most prognosticators had expected. Being able to shoot the 3 and have size are formulas that young coach Will Hardy has leaned into.

Will the Jazz continue their surprising start or will they slow down in DC????

Weren't we the "surprise team" last year that started 10-3?... Not ready to believe in the Jazz quite yet.

Also, the last guy in the photo lineup for the Jazz has Utah written all over him. He was born to play for that squad.

Agreed. This game is just a bad matchup for Gafford with Utah's type of bigs.

Wiz shooting 47% from 3, Jazz 45.5%. Not sure any of that is sustainable.

Also the Jazz have 1 (one) FT for the half. That's probably not repeatable either.
