OFFICIAL TBS SUCKS THREAD

Post#1 » by KnickTerp12 » Fri Oct 5, 2007 6:16 am

Am I alone in realizing that TBS is the officially the worst broadcast of a sports event ever.

Their K-zone is a joke, showing chest high pitches above peoples heads.

That stupid "lead" for the runner son base. STUPID.

How bout the camera angles? What do they have like 2 cameras in the whole stadium. I couldn't tell at all if Damon's ball was a HR.

How bout the sound fading in and out through the boardcast?

And last but definitely not least, THE ANNOUNCERS. SO unbelievably biased I was getting so angry.

P.S. Screw Dane Cook and Frank Caliendo and there same commercials being re-run over and over

i completely agree with every word, man. They are HORRIBLE. what happen to joe buck and FOX? tony gywnn also sounds like a girl.

however, i must say, caliendo isn't that bad at impersonations. idk why, im really entertained by impersonations.

FOX has their coverage coming up later in the postseason. Not like they're much better, both pretty bad.

ESPN however, which no longer carries the postseason thanks to TBS, was by far the best when it came to 21st century baseball coverage.

Can't really disagree with anything that you just said, especially the camera angles. They're awful. I couldn't even hardly see the ball on that Johnny Damon homerun.

I like their pre & post game coverage. Frank Thomas isn't good but everyone else is. I think their in game coverage stinks though.

& Dane Cooks a tool.

Frank Caliendo is funny... but TBS shoved him down our throats with such ferocity that it became sickening, IMHO.

To the OP, from a Cubs fan... I couldn't agree more. TBS has some work to do for the future MLB broadcasts.
