Or you could just watch the play and see it's Kyrie who jumped back and to his left in an effort to try to create contact, (there is literally zero reason for him to move backwards otherwise) but you can still trot this out there and make yourself look pathetic.
He came into his landing space, Giannis has played dirty against the Nets many times. Go watch the pre season game where he purposely tried taking KD out and going for Kyrie’s ankles. Even Nets reporters started calling it out. This guy acts genuine when in reality he is a dirty POS who is loved by the media. Rigging is a thing and he’s protected by the league.
Your natural landing space is not backwards and to your left. You're delusional.

You are delusional because you know Giannis was on the hot seat for not winning until he got a ring handed to him via rigging. The world knows it but it was ignored.

And here we have the case for a longer Kyrie suspension with fans taking on the woke conspiracy theorist personality of their player.

Stop mixing the present issue with what happened with Giannis. People are divided and understandably so; He shouldn’t be posting **** on his Twitter; he knew it was going to trigger a reaction but oh well.

Re: Is Brooklyn Back?
Meh their schedule has been pretty easy lately, they're not beating any of the top teams in the league.

They're starting to look better.
And that's even with Simmons and Watanabe out.
Having Warren back now should help.

Re: Is Brooklyn Back?
Yes they have. Coaching change and lineup/rotation changes have helped.
Ben Simmons needs to come off the bench. The SL below has an insanely good net rating.
Claxton
O’Neal
Durant
Harris
Irving
Second unit of Simmons, Curry and Warren along with two of the rest depending on matchups (Sharpe, Morris, Mills etc.)
That team can get to the second round but don’t think it will beat the Bucks or Celtics who are head and shoulders above the rest in the East.

Agreed. Healthy BOS and MIL are the class of the East.
If there was a team that might score a second-round upset, though, I'd probably go with Brooklyn.

But nobody knows whom will be top to the East by playoff time, and Brooklyn are the hottest team in the NBA, currently on a 4-game winning streak and already up to 6th in the East. Plenty of time for Brooklyn to overtake Boston and Milwaukee in the standings.

Re: Is Brooklyn Back?
Gotta re-up this thread again.
Brooklyn has won 5 games in a row (including tonight's buzzer-beater by Kyrie in Toronto), they are the 4th seed in the East and they seem fairly healthy and happy at the moment.
They have won 9 of their last 10 games (9-1), and now have an 18-12 overall record after starting the season 2-6.

Re: Is Brooklyn Back?
It does seem to look like judging Brooklyn with no Joe Harris, Seth Curry, cripped/rusty Ben Simmons, TJ Warren, and a suspended Kyrie Irving, may have been a tad hasty.
And I include myself in that criticism.

3rd best team in the East... but I don't like their matchup with the top 2. Nets need to add some size in the front court.

They still need work, IMO, but they're gaining momentum and they seem legitimately happy right now.
Lot of shared love after Kyrie hit the game-winner tonight.

Re: Is Brooklyn Back?
Team is rounding into shape. Kyrie and KD are both hitting monster shots and Yuta is their 6th man 3rd option they've been searching for. The three of them are just playing so free and in rhythm I can see that continuing to finish the season.
The real development to keep an eye on is the maturity of Claxton and Ben Simmons continuing to build his confidence to become that DPOY level defender for the big guns. He's had a some really good stops as of late.

The Brooklyn Express rolls on and on and on....!
The hottest team in the NBA, and perhaps the only team whom gives 100% effort every night at both ends!!
We are oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooon fiiiiiiyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Ya Ya Ya!!!
KD with +9 and BS with +7 in the 3 point victory @ Toronto

getting rid of Steve Nash was the most important thing. Whether you think he was a good coach or not(I don't) he lost the team a year ago. They were not listening to him, and not willing to play hard for him, and you can see that in defense. Vaughn is not a great coach, but the players at least care about defense now. Nash was a dead man walking as soon as Durant asked for him to be fired. It was KD or Nash at that point.
