Re: GT: Brooklyn vs Los Angeles
Its fine to lose on a back to back. But we are already in a deep hole. So we can't afford to lose any winnable games anymore.
This is a terrible loss.
Not to mention our idiot FO is keeping out Kyrie, a 30 pt game scorer for what???? To go on some bull Zoom meeting with the ADL?
The man apologized. KD is out here dying with no other offensive weapon.
Meanwhile Simmons has basically just quit on trying to play anymore!!!!
Trade KD or bring Kyrie back. This middle ground is just complete BS.

Why stop only there. They should’ve hired Ime by now. We really should believe JV can handle Kyrie and good enough for a deep PO run?

I can't stand nba players that cannot make a darn lay up, why the hell are you 6'8 for? this guy Oneale can't make a free throw to save his life it's ridiculous. Anyway we was down too many players, once Claxton left the game it kinda ruined our chances, and their legs was tired from the back 2 back. These guys NEED to start making their shots !!! Joe and Patty is becoming useless. Ben Simmons is such a waste, I can't stand seeing him on the bench.

Joe Harris and Patty Mills are really being deadweights…. It’s unfortunate but its been writing on the wall for the longest

Defense collapsed without Claxton.
Not having any other Center is just absurd. Try playing Sharpe.
Morris at C? Give me a break. We needed to sign someone months ago.

It's truly crazy
AD is a top player but he's not a big banger
Being forced to play micro ball because we literally don't have a traditional 5 on the roster is just ridiculous and almost guarantees a L against a bad team because he will get whatever he wants

Re: GT: Brooklyn vs Los Angeles
That was a humiliating loss, but also a much needed wakeup call after our hot streak that we are still a very flawed team even without Nash.
Two major issues right now, one of which has been evident all season
- We need another big other than Clax. Clax is great but he can't play 48. Sharpe isn't ready and Markieff is not a 5.
- We need more offense other than KD, we're so reliant on him and it's easy to shut down (as easy to shut down as shutting down KD can be) when teams plan for it. if the Lakers can exploit this, imagine what real playoff teams can do. Good news is a bought in Kyrie is the best solution for this problem, the bad news is a bought in Kyrie is like hoping for a full moon every single night.

Same here , just got home and saw the score , was about to watch recording, I think I’ll skip it this one though
On to the next , it’s long season and we can’t win them all

I said this hundred times , Marks is terrible GM , he gave Patty this 2 y contract without even bothering to talk to Bruce Brown , he never even considered BB and he could be easily signed for the similar money we paid Patty , yet Patty is not getting better , maybe good locker room team mate but guess what the same could be said about THEO PINSON

They still made a semi run in the third; no Claxton in the second half, no Curry, obviously no Kyrie, and KD played a **** load of minutes. This is a loss you have to live with; if LA loses more games, the hope is they cave and offer Davis. We gotta do Davis for Kyrie like yesterday. He would be the answer to our low post problems.
Marks has his work cut out for him. We need more reliable offensive players and a big like AD.

Re: GT: Brooklyn vs Los Angeles
Marks has to make some tweaks here. I don't trust Kyrie, and we need a 2nd scorer on this team. Not having Seth hurt. We need another reliable big.
Otherwise, I'm not going to be upset. No sense in doing so.

Seth hopefully can play full time soon.
Harris needs to get back in form soon.
Simmons I have no faith in right now. And his offense is **** anyway.
Backup Center needs to be addressed immediately. Either play Sharpe or sign somebody.
Morris is not going to work.

Play Sharpe. He's not that bad for 2nd string.

I know. And that's what I'm worried about. What happens when, not if, he starts to undermine Vaughn?

If Kyrie causes any more issues then its time to pull the plug on this whole experiment.
This team without Kyrie is a 1st round exit.
Even with Kyrie its probably a 2nd round exit max. But I say give it a go.
See if Simmons can back to form. Harris can improve. Claxton keeps getting better. Injury luck etc.
If by the deadline things look bleak then its time to trade KD. I think certain teams are getting a little desperate.
Honestly I would be intrigued at this point with a Philly package around Maxey. Assuming we can't get Jaylen Brown anymore.

Maybe I watched wrong game , I think it was against Wizards , Maxey was chucking bad shot after bad shot , heavy contested long twos and threes, to me he looked ( at least this particular game ) like a player you would’ve get sick from watching in no time
And why give Sixers any chance at championship? With Biid and Harden they at best second round exit , With Durant ,yes they will be contender barring on health biid and soften
