Re: Around The League: 2021-2022 Season 2.0
The Nets get a new coach suspend Kyrie, relegate Simmons to the bench and they start winning, wow. My only question is can KD continue to be a one man wrecking crew all season. And when Kyrie comes back does it help or hinder team chemistry.
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way. (Marlo)

This strikes me as a rule that will definitely get changed once it’s abused enough.
It’s only noteworthy because it’s new. Teams will start pressuring the ball more against them and then they won’t be able to do it.
If the Celtics try it against Indy, TJ is gonna get 10+ steals
Thybulle ought to grab a few of those as well if they try it against the Sixers.

Which is often. He’s like Korkmaz: set fire to the sun for a game, then can’t hit water out of a boat for 4 or 5.

My take on why Celts office is so fire.
Because they are playing the right way like what the NBA wants. Similar to how Spurs and Jazz do it. But Celts does it with talent and a go to scorer.
Spacing.
Drive and draw.
Bigs setting good screens, rolling right, popping right.
Multiple wings or guards running transition.

Sucks for the Knicks that RJ seems to have reached plateau. It’s fun to see OKC actually competing this season. I wish Chet didn’t hurt his foot it so we could see what their full team looks like.

I’m not a believer but I definitely find myself rooting for him. Big, strong lefty with massive underdog energy due to his draft class. But he doesn’t have the skill or burst to be a real all star it seems.

Now is a good time for anyone who wants to get some Beal slander out of their system. Wizards are 4-1 since he’s been out.

It's crazy how Bradley Beal hasn't shot well since John Wall left in 2018.

Re: Around The League: 2021-2022 Season 2.0
Even if Beal decides he wants a trade and even if a team wants to take on that contract part of the issue is he has become how he has been used on the Wizards.
By that I mean he has been playing essentially the last four to five seasons having the entire offense being run through him and allowing him to have the ball in his hands and play ISO. I think he can be extremely effective off the ball but it's been so long where he's even had to share ballhandling duties it isn't going to be an easy adjustment and unless there is significant buy in it's doomed to fail especially with players like Embiid and Harden on the roster

I think we're about to see a Maledon break out. There are few prospects I've seen as natural in the PnR as Maledon was coming into the league. He's starting to figure out, but unfortunately it'll be behind Ball.

Okc-Celts is fun. Both teams playing the same style. Switch and drive and draw

DSJ also has been great for the Hornets

I was very high on Maledon (still am in some way) knew Hayes would suck as Maledon was the Euro prospect to get, he just isn’t as big in size as I would’ve liked. Missed on Suggs too so for point guards I’m doing terribly (Cooper as well though he is very skilled just a short arse lol).

Re: Around The League: 2021-2022 Season 2.0
I think a player like Beal is completely fine being the main guy on mediocre Washington teams. I mean...At the end of the day there are worse things in life he could be. Winning just doesn't seem to be a top priority for him. Sure, he's a competitor and the Wizards are certainly a better team with him than without him so I don't see any harm in who he is as a player. In other words I don't hate him the way some people do. He got on my nerves in the playoffs a couple years ago, but that's because we were playing against him. Other than that, I think he's a great player.

Rockets team culture seems awful. Not what you’d like to see on a promising young team.

Raps. Either godly scouting or godly player development or maybe both
